The cat facing the wall is a pretty huge sign that perhaps he or she is feeling depressed, or is greatly disturbed by something. Lots of comments here saying the cat's trying to get warmth by facing the wall. But cats only display such behaviour when they're extremely sad. If this cat is part of a community like the one shown in the video, it would be best to take it to a vet to see if it's feeling okay. Loving animals is a beautiful thing in itself, but understanding what they're trying to say, especially when they're silent, can heal and save many of them 💜💜😸

Yes, facing and pressing face against a wall or other flat surface is an indicator of neurological problems. I had a cat do this, it was alarming, poor thing, she was getting old. ~ 'Facing' is different than hiding, as cats often hide when ill. If a cat continuously face presses against a wall, or furniture, take pet to the vet.

That's what I was thinking too because that's what I've read. But I also recall reading that the head needs to be firmly pressed up against a wall and this cat did not seem to be like that. It also turned its head later so hopefully it's not any illness!

There was a cat lying down, faced to the wall that I saw years ago, her story was that her divorced parents couldn’t take care of her anymore and she felt and was abandoned. I sadly could not take care of her because I already have another cat but if anyone sees a depressed cat, please take them in! Please keep an eye out for the grey cat. Notice if they are head pressing against the wall or an object. This sometimes means they have a headache or are in pain, due to infection or something else. It looks as if the grey cat isn't feeling well, and the black cat is keeping it company/or is worried. They do not look overly cold. They can go inside. I have had cats watch over me when I was ill. This sort of posture and attention is much the same as when I was being watched over: Very close, and attentive.

Our last cat was a rescue Tabby from the nearby animal shelter. When we went to see him, he was faced away from the open side of the cage, but stood up proudly when the worker opened the cage to show him to us. She was concerned that his temperament might be questionable, but we adopted him anyway. He turned out to be the most wonderful and affectionate cat anyone could ever hope for - he would always want to be wherever people were, and as soon as you sit down he would jump in your lap and loved to be brushed. He was one year old when we adopted him, and 14 years old when he passed away last year. I miss him every day, but have all the wonderful memories that live on in our hearts. I love you Tiger! ❤
