I've watched tons of rescue videos, but this one, about George Jr really moved me. He morphed from the sickest, most pitiful dog, into a big, fun loving perpetual puppy. His life may not have been very long, but like his rescuer said, it was a happy life, a life well lived. Rest in peace georgie porgie. You were a good boy, a very good boy. 🥹💖

George is the most lovable boy. His moods, from "I'm not moving from this spot, thank you very much" to "Yes, yes, the park, the park!" would make anyone smile. His last life was just beautiful. Good boy!

George was gorgeous and even when he was excited and giddy he did it in his own chilled, laid back way which is fantastic, he was just a chill guy and I'm so glad he had those 3 years of happiness and love even though it seems a short time for us you can see that for him it was forever and that's all that matters, bless George and his family, plus George who rescued him for being there at the right time ❤️

Bless dear George and the humans who gathered together across space and time to save him. He's gone but you're still here sharing his memory so that we might be drawn to your love and laughter and seek it out ourselves. How many animals have you rescued through such indirect means? I hope when times are difficult you remember you've inspired a more compassionate world.

Although George Jr. may not have lived a long life, it sounds like the last chapters were the BEST of his life. How many other strays get to experience this? A true home filled with love, care, & kindness. Far to few I'm afraid.😞 Life is measured in quality not quantity. Sadly 😢 something common in rescue. RIP George Jr. May you find peace 🕊️ at Rainbow 🌈 Bridge 🕊️ until your owners can join you. Please stop by to let everyone you know you made the journey to the other side safely. May one day all dog's have the happily ever after that you got George Jr. Just because people CARED! 💖 🤘

You know Valia, I think so often about something a wonderful young veterenarian said, as he came to my home because we had to let one of our cats go. He stayed after that a while and was there for me. As we spoke about this and that, he said one thing, I will never forget. He said "Animals don't count days" And as I thought many many times about this, I realised how right this is. Animals are not sad about death, they don't see time as a long line, like we do. They live in the present, in this one moment. And this one moment is everything that counts. And they are not sad because they have to go. It is alright I think. So thanks all of you wonderful angels Georgie had 3 wonderful blessed and loved years. And that is what counts. Nothing else.

Ah god this is why I couldn't become a rescatist it just hurt a lot that when you are in the top at the best of a life like George could have, if were to be fair since the begining, suddenly evrething just stops, as if that just wasn't enough to ley it continue or to let it end in a perfect or idealic final. that just tear me so danm much that takes me months of teraphy to let it ease, althou that never stops me from give a hand, by being a foster or adopting as many strays as my wallet and space allow me, un name of all the Georges out there. Happy eternal life to the George he was. ❤
