Hey, dude. I've had 4 back surgeries, too. About 4 months ago, I had a device placed into my spinal column between the spinal column itself & resting in my spinal cord. A batteryr is placed into your lower back of hip. It sends electronic pulses through spinal cord relieving pain. It's made by ABBOTT (checkout the website) but has to be ordered through your doctor. You can control the strength of pulses with an IPHONE, which they supply. I'm not sure I'd be alive today without it. I went from a daily pain level of 9-10 every day to averaging 2-3 now. It doesn't work for everyone, but if you are in shape, I was in. It's worth it. Then do a test surgery 1st to make it benefits you. I have BlueShield/Bluecross through my wife's work & I have Medicare & I paid ZERO dollars for a $60,000 surgery. It changed my life, attitude, pain level. I wouldn't lie to you about this pain i suffered with for nearly 20 years, before being referred to a back doctor who then setup meeting with the spinal surgery doctor. I was given a new life at 64 bro.
