Really nice video!! This is how a bow actually performs against most enemies/bosses, you DO get hit, slow 'recovery animations' I believe... and I can only imagine the amount of farming you had to do between fights/attempts since we still haven't got a "feather bell bearing"

Greatbows are still great for enemies with huge hitboxes. I took down Bayle with Radan's Greatbow and basically the same talismans but take Ritual sword out for Godfrey's Icon. But I wanna try the 2 Handed talisman to see if it works with bows

Ansbach's bow is so cracked. First, its like the Black Bow so it behaves as a light bow though it is a standard bow. Then you have its unique weapon skill---the wide 8 shot spread that does full 8x damage to anything hit even if its just one of the arrows.

Wasn't sure if both arrow sting talismans stacked but I'm glad to see they do. I would also like to point out that the storm arrows get the increased damage buff from the divine beast talisman too. Not sure if bleed is still the better option even with that knowledge.

Thank you! Honestly havn't tested lightning arrows but they'd probably be the best arrows for raw damage if they have scaling with dex.

Rellana is not an optional boss since you need to clap her cheeks to progress to the next area. Unless there's a way to go to the next area without killing her but I'm certain there is none.

The bone one allows for homing arrows, but mostly the dude is level 250 with capped STR/DEX. You'd get similar numbers out of any shortbow/Black Bow with bleed arrows. I won't say that makes it *easy* but he is just Bigger Number than your average DLC player.

Bows have terrible scaling with stats anyway. You don't need to be high level to make them work. The Bone bow is great against fast bosses because of the tracking of the ash of war, Ansbach's Longbow is great for burst damage, and it has the moveset of a small bow with the damage of a greatbow. Both very viable

I tried them against Radahn, they seem to proc poison much much faster than other rot or poison arrows. Usually better dps wise to use bleed or frost but poison arrows are super fun

I feel like Rancor Shot is very good against fast bosses that move a lot, because it has tracking. When I got to Radahn I needed a lot more burst damage so Fan shot was perfect for that. They're both very very good

Both bows are dlc. One you can get at the very beginning of the game which is the Bone Bow and the other you get through a quest, Ansbach bow

Honestly bro arrows are cheap as heck, killing enemies gives you more than enough runes to buy a good amount of arrows. There’s also good farming spots for runes that will set you up with enough arrows for a while
