As a Dark Magician player I can never understand why people insist on always using raigeki or dark hole on Dark Magician while Eternal Soul is active on the field.

Yes and no. Pierce the darkness only works on normal monsters and fusion monsters *if they were fusion summoned*. But DMDK does protect the whole backrow, and ES in turn protects him. So you could stall if need be to get either another fusion out with poly (etc), or an actual DM

I want a dark magician deck where he is the only monster and he is immortal. The abality to get 8000 to 10000 attack, he can't be killed, opponents cant summon, special summon, tribute or summon from extra deck. They can't use traps and when they use spells you negate any effect. You gain life as time passes. You can sit there and just wait until they give up or one shot them. To me this would be the perfect dark magician deck.

C1000 can only pop another monster. I checked the opponents decklist, and all he had in his deck to deal with ES was his one copy of Judgment. And you saw what happened there lol
