One of the closest. Bernahl was close enough to the point where his Finger Maiden cast herself into the flames, so he's been to the Forge of the Giants, and is also present in Farum Azula whereas Vyke was not able to make it this far.

These folks, the death knights. They seem to be inspired by Fromsoft's previous enemy type- The Darkwraiths. They are also, "once noble warriors, now consumed by darkness", also with skull helmets and a grab attack that drains your health and restores theirs. And they too, serve to a once noble master(s) who got consumed by death.

So far I got Lightning dash: as a reaction, roll 1d6, oneven, The Death Knight dodges at frightening speed, avoiding any spell or attack, with the exception of medium to large aoe effects or spells, or the magic missile spell Draining Grasp, range 30ft: Make a DC 18 dexterity saving throw, on a fail, you are lifted up 20 ft into the air and take 7d4 necrotic damage and 1d4 bludgeoning damage as The Death Knight absorbs your life essence before slamming you back down to the ground, The Death Knight heals for all Necrotic Damage dealt by this attack, recharges on a 5-6 of a 1d6 roll
