Indeed, was about to post this too. This is why support can never be "pure" healers, with 20k healing he still lost, while enemy team can have 8k healing, win the match and have almost 30 kills each (more than the dps itself).

The mindset you need as a support (or really healers in general in other games) is heal your team just enough to where they survive, and dps whenever they don't need healing. Support is basically dps but with the added responsibility of surviving and healing. If there's nobody to heal then you can just dps but it's important to sit on the backline constantly checking if your teammates potentially need healing.

I dont get your point, he never said that support should only heal and do nothing else. He said that the main task of a support is to heal the team. You can do damage when nobody is going to die just so you can play dps support. Nobody said smth against supports doing also damage. Kinda weird how you try to twist this here.

I'm here after watching a ton of the Elo hell series (absolutely lit btw) and I have to say that for some people its real. Having 4-8 games in a row on support where the enemy team has triple the kills, double the damage, and 1/5 of the deaths of your team is god awful, and its impossible to climb in a team game playing essentially 1v5. The irony is I feel most streamers say that its not real, but the average player probably needs to play at 1-3 ranks above their current rank to climb. So imagine telling a gold player they need to perform like a diamond just to climb out of gold. Kinda nuts in my opinion. This is the end of my ted talk LUL

I get your point, but, if you perform like a Gold player and are 'stuck' in Gold rank, you're not actually stuck, you're placed where you belong. If you want to rank up, you need to outperform people in the rank you're currently in. That's playing 'above your rank' usually means.

zen has the strongest heals by far, when fully upgraded you can passively do 110 heals per second on 2 targets and a burst heal when you get a head shot

Zen is the most healing I've had. 2 harmony orbs, person harmony orb and 35% increased healing from orb perks

Anyone else deal with the visual bug on morias dmg orb .... Sometime once it starts attcking you it freezes in place visually and now you technically have to deal with an invisible orb
