It was obvious that an average guy who is multiple times weaker than them could no way lift that log. This is quite dangerous you could injure yourself easily to lift heavy without being used to it.

Who designed this? As some other people already mentioned, the rack is too high. Also, with something that can easily roll like a log, the way they have the rope looped around it is causing the guys to roll it forward into them making balancing and controlling it much harder. The handles are also too long, creating a longer moment arm for balancing as well. The rope should have been anchored around the log with the handles pinned at their base and coming off it at a perpendicular angle, as well as being shorter so the hands are closer to a front rack position.

Also there should be a stopper on the end. The way it is now if that log decides to roll forward at the end it will cut the man carrying it in half as it falls from the rack. But it did not happen so maybe i am just overthinking this.

TheChainsawboy No doubt. 2017 Eddie was a force to be reckoned with. I’m excited to see what Hafthor’s future holds though

TheChainsawboy Did you forget about Louis, Paul, Bill, and Žydrūnas?
@setht9041
@setht9041 5 жыл бұрын
Mister008Gaming He did not. Big Z is the greatest strongman that ever lived. Eddie Hall is the strongest man that ever lived. Louis was a circus performer with many fake lifts and props. Paul was incredibly strong but also had many inflated and exaggerated lifts. Even in this show they estimated his “1,100” pound squat was actually about 700 pounds.

Them having to stabilize with the ropes is actually pulling down on the log, so they are actually adding more weight to the log equal to the force they are exerting down on those ropes.
