Also playing around with Swift Marchers a little more, I think I'd be very much in favor of mana cost literally doubling at a minimum. It's a little too good. Maybe lose Road Walk. I dunno. It's a lot like fabled hunters in a lot of respects, and that's a trait that I'm perpetually okay with getting nerfed.

Unironically it can lose the unlock forced march at the beginning of the game and still probably be pickable. It really should be adjusted.

@klodpraisor I know Avoxel will never do that, and I'd *like* to get the trait to something closer to balanced... but yeah, it's good. I just say double cost on Forced March at a minimum to seriously slow down your ability to turbo clear at the beginning of the game when mana is most precious without royally messing the skill up in the late game. Tbh, Forced March could be 25 mana per click and still be net positive and usable.

@@tomirasanen2512 Bug Hunters is going to be all like that. Expect the tier lists to be more "normal," but the Bug Hunters videos are going to be as close to unfiltered Walker as possible so probably boil it before consuming.

Before the update I was playing around with swift marchers with industrial culture, necromancy, dragon lord and ancient hoarder society trait. Swift marchers allows double prospecting. More items = more gold and more mana.

Yeah, and it gives you an extra scout so it is effectively quad prospecting. The issue is that 1.) not every map gen will support this except for Land, and even then you can have only 5 mountains reachable within the first 2 turns and 2.) Industrious was meaningfully nerfed in their combat ability by losing Defensive Masters and taunt, their main frontline cc, coming down to 2 turns. To be clear, I do think it is very powerful on Industrious, but given that I think Industrious is probably A rank now instead of S I think that's okay.

FOR GOODNESS SAKE, when you hover over something, DO NOT quickly move your mouse off of it like you have hand twitches or ADHD. JUST LEAVE the text on the screen for like 2 seconds so we can pause or read it quickly, or EVEN leave it on the screen for like more seconds while you talk about it. LOVE your content, but you constantly do that and it makes it very hard to read and follow for noobs like me. thank you very much.

It's a bug of Walker game design I really can't get over, I really am sorry. I hope you can just listen to the video most of the time and still learn a lot? That's how I hope most people watch my stuff anyways, the things on the screen are usually not *that* important.

@@koeyfoo6424 I have been receiving said feedback the entire time I have been a content creator. I have attempted to modify my own behavior many times, but unfortunately it makes it too difficult for me to make content when I'm focused on masking. I don't think it's unreasonable to ask people to just be empathetic to my obvious autism, but if folks really can't stand it I really do think that you don't need to "watch" most of my videos - the audio does suffice. It's not a question of taking feedback or not, it's a question of spending my creative spoons and energy on things that only a small group of my consumers want in ways that derail my ability to make content by requiring me to pretend to be someone I am not. I've done that professionally long enough to know it is only stressful and does not really help anyone long-term for me to even pretend to be normal. I like video games, especially good ones, and I shake sometimes when I get excited.

Swift Marchers is a very bad precedent of a literal 'pay to win' society trait. Having the ability to forced march from the start of the game, plus never losing units on routing, plus road walk is like having speedhack cheats enabled, and you can only get it if you either buy the full Expansion Pass, or the Herald of Glory DLC that literally contains this one trait and some cosmetics. I really wish this aspect of the trait got more attention since it's not just bustedly overpowered but also directly gives more power to those who pay more. Triumph really needs to see more backlash on this IMO

@@Dakkalazy I hope that someone else can lead that charge, I've been reporting on the double stun bug and it's consequences for more than half a year. I would encourage you to engage with the community in a respectful way but in a way that communicates that *you* - the customer who pays Triumph to make games - are unhappy currently with the balance. I think Road Walk needs to come off 100%. Probably mana cost doubled too.

@@-Kidzin Honestly though, try it out on someone more "fair" like Mystics and you'll see why I'm strongly in favor of people playing around with it on non-Barb factions. It opens up the map for you and allows you to make much more deliberate, interesting turns, and rewards player skill and attentiveness immensely. I really do love it, probably my favorite trait. Just auto ban on barbs no excuses

I think it was part of the Herald of Glory preorder bonus for getting Season 2, which I'm not like a *huge* fan of Pay-to-Win. That said, I do think the trait is mostly okay on not barbs, so I don't think it's more pay to win than any of the busted DLC tomes, so *shrug*.
