That’s cool. I look forward to installing an Aqua Air central vac in my residence one day.

Those things are gross. No reason to add water into a central vacuum.

@@PerformanceReviews I have one for my appliance showroom and really like that it makes cleaning the polished concrete floor so easy to clean. It also came in very handy when the showroom got flooded twice.

If the blowers could use BLDC motors the efficiency could go up greatly (and that could mean even greater suction at less or same power input)

What does BLDC mean? Thanks.

Yeah, what is BLDC? Why can't these use induction motors (without brushes)?

Disclaimer: not a vacuum professional. Could always tap off the 120 and add an aux fan to the motor housing to provide some extra cooling to the motors. Even something like a 120mm fan blowing into the motor housing would probably help a lot since I assume the issue is each motor starving the other of good airflow for cooling.
@PerformanceReviews2 ай бұрын
The motors are self cooling. I think the problem with trying to add something like a computer fan is that these are moving so much air that they would counteract the air from the computer fan and probably break the motor in that 120mm fan.
@stazeII2 ай бұрын
@@PerformanceReviews ah, are there fans on back side of motors? Thought they basically used evacuated air to cool themselves, and with two you’re trying to cool with a “vacuum”. Was thinking just a fan into the motor stator space and control board would help. Shoot, at that point… maybe some type of negative pressure release (so they never pull down past 90”? Do vacuum motors have like a “minimum vacuum to provide adequate cooling” rating? Would think maybe rpm rating would also work in a pinch since that should increase as vacuum increases? Just spitballing. :)

😮 The higher wattage generates more heat. Where is the bag located?

On top just like the rest of the MD units.

Interesting video . I had a 7000 sq ft home with one . I now live in a 2300 s f house and don’t c the need for one . I love my D4 & Meile upright. I would like a Felix . I saw last July Sebo had a sale do they have sales at different times of the year ?

I ask because , there was no sale from SEBO in July. No sales on canisters ever to my knowledge. Sounds like you have a local dealer who plays used car sales games. Good luck to you with that. Thanks for watching!

I wonder if you could use a lens cap for your test, instead of having to hold your tight against it
@PerformanceReviews2 ай бұрын
Yes I could. But I wouldn't be able to get a working vacuum number. Trying to pull something like that off when a vacuum running is nearly impossible with as much power on this machine like this has.

I am a bit confused. I am an avid watcher of your channel! I can't help but notice the sealed suction of this custom system is lower than the central system you tested last year where you tested the dyson, henry, miele, lindhaus, and the central. kzbin.info/www/bejne/rWaceXaQnZJ1hK8si=S5K0tJ73IS6fKft1 Please comment back if you would since I could be mistaken.

That's a great observation. There's a few things different in both videos. The video made last year was made in an altitude of 5280. With a DB9000 which has its motors in series this particularly favors higher water lift numbers. The MD vacuum cleaner in this video is it an altitude of 8000 feet above sea level. It's motors are in parallel. This configuration favors air flow over water lift. There's probably a better explanation somewhere online of the difference between the two types of dual motor units. Thanks for watching and commenting.
