There's one thing you overlooked. Although you said that ping becomes obsolete, it doesn't when using the charge. The charge often doesn't shoot on high ping, no matter how long you charge it for, and this means that you cannot do any damage to your opponent, no matter how well you outplay them. This is a big problem for many people and a reason that so many do not use the charge

Guys ,just wanna say ,personally I find charges bad because...If you are in a build battle you have to charge (which would take you 4 to 5 seconds) if you on low ground you would have to crank,when you crank,you are exposed if the other person had a pump and he hit you ,an instant 110 or 200 however if you have a pump it is a instant 200 or 110 if the enemies pellets hit.I find it quite clanky and difficult to use. like if you agree

It deals about the same damage as the pump. It has range as the heavy. It has almost the accuracy of the combat. It can deal damage while charged as the double barrel and dragon shotgun. The damage is more consistent than the tacs one. And it can be as overwhelming as the drum shotgun. =This gun is insane!

Yeah and now the pump does so much body shot damage and whenever I shoot someone in the head it does 50 and the lever is worse than the tac. In season 5 I used to run purple pistol with a charge and I loved every second of it

I'm so happy that I'm not the only one who loves the charge. I was blaming for the pump to come back but I've realised that the charge requires more skill and practice. Hitting 120 body damage with a half charge is just so satisfying. And 1 thing I don't like about the charge is that it has a very low spawn rate and I barely find any

That's the thing though, although the rest comes with having the 0 damage mindset, it's still a very slow-paced playstyle that people might not like or feel comfortable with. Even though it can be effective it may not be as fun or even make someone feel like the fact they're not straight-up boxing their opponent and quickly ending the fight with a 200 pump but rather camping right-hand peeks while charging up their shotty means they're getting worse at the game. It's such a controversial topic and it raises so many doubts in both comp and casual players' heads..
