the outer layer is very hot yes, but as some pointed out, the molecules are so far apart that the "feeling" of that heat would be akin to fire ant bites. specks here an there of rapid intense heat, the rest of skin surface would be cold. By this point in our atmosphere there's virtually no air and no pressure, so the gear used to protect against the vacuum can double as to protect against the flashes of radiant heat

0:38 The extra push doesn't cause them to fly faster. In fact, there's likely is very little "pushing" except for when the aircraft first enters into the faster winds. Aircraft fly at the same airspeed inside or outside of the jetstreams, but because the air itself is moving en masse relative to the ground, the resultant groundspeed is increased by the speed of the winds that the aircraft is airborne within. In short, the air moving across the wings is the same speed, but the ground below is moving much faster. (And the reverse can be true if aircraft fly against the jetstreams which are usually depicted as rivers of air aloft, but function as broader regions of moving air with some concentration in narrow bands depending on conditions.)

It's pretty wild how hot the atmosphere gets at the top level! 1500C is hot enough to melt any common metals, like aluminum, which was heavily used in the moon travel rockets! I wonder how those rockets are able to surpass through this layer..

so look before you try to search the comments, some points to make 1. they pronounced Troposphere wrong, it's troe pose like coke, not cock 2. Definitions: "Meteor"- Any rocky body of extra terrestrial location, ie Asteroids, Meteoroids Shooting stars, comets(debatable; since not exactly rocky) Definitions: "Asteroid"- any ET body beyond our atmosphere, typically some stable orbit thats of mostly rocky/metallic composite Definitions: "Meteoroid"- any ET body within our atmosphere, THESE are shooting stars, as all shooting stars are meteoroids and vise versa(Notice i said ANY ET body, so could be comet frag or even an old sat, slong as in atmosphere NOT in stable orbit Definitions: Meteorite- Any ET body presently on the planet's surface. Thus a Meteor in space, then Meteoroid in atmosphere, then a Meteorite on surface after impact, with Asteroids being a specific type of Meteor. 2. Definitions: Comet- a very large icy/rocky ET body in orbit with the sun; currently believed to be remnants of solar system creation. the 2 types of comets are: Kuiper belt objects (Ex. Pluto), being the larger ones & in a semi stable/semi planar(Nearly the same plane as the planets)/semi circular orbit, starting from pluto's orbit of something like what 60 AU, all way out to twice that distance; 120 AU [i think 120] The other type are yr classic comets, much smaller but still very large (Average size is of a mountain) in a non-planar, very highly elliptical orbit around sun. So at its nearest they get in closer than Mercury or around .2 AU, and at its apogee they slingshot out to [kinna guessing] 500ish AU or the very outer reaches of the sun's gravitational influence itself; any further and would officially escape our star system, which some did, any closer to the sun and they'd get pulled in an poof, which some did, these are simply the survivors. Single revolution can be 100's to 1,000's of years long, there position at there apogee forms what's called the Oort Cloud, a cloud for a few reasons, first cuz there is no plane of orbit like our planets are on, and there not permanently positioned, its the range of possible positions. Think the electron shell in the latest Atomic Model, only comet shell (only Not a shell because the electron shell is a very set distance to the center, the oort cloud has a very broad range in distance to our star. Picture a visually hazy distantly thick spherical outer solar system atmosphere layer AND FINALLY 3! The outer atmosphere layer is called the Exosphere, divided in 2 parts with the Ionosphere at bottom(thats where aurora occurs and is what protects us against cosmic rays), an the Magnetosphere(Our Magnetic field) extends as far out as past our moon! The Thermosphere was the old term used

Someone mentions lithosphere here below these messages... lithosphere is in the planet itself, not above troposphere. If you read a lot about volcanoes you might know that. When a volcano is sleeping (not active any more) they destroy the crater of the volcano and get in there and they find diamonds.

The Quran 21:32 "We made the sky a preserved and protected roof yet still they turn away from Our Signs"... All praise due to Allah.
@MikeGreenwood51
@MikeGreenwood51 8 жыл бұрын
+Xoz eXoz Your devil god allah satana didn't make the sky. Your caveman mad madhammad the murderer used existing teachings. So just as the Jews didn't, nor the Isralites, so too the madhammdans didn't. When you say or other muslims say 'We'. Who are they referring too. Who are you referring to? Gods? Lol . But muslims murdered politheists. So often your criminal quran say's, 'We'. But never says who. The Sky is a northern concept. It is not a protected roof. It may be holy as it is pourus. But it wouldn't stop all material penertration. If you are a non believer then take your false allah to mad madhammad your last and final messenger. But don't forget he instructed non believers to be murdered. God isn't dead, but mad madhammad is.
@DrXoz
@DrXoz 8 жыл бұрын
Michael Greenwood Someone has breast-fed you wrong information. Indeed God is not dead and Muhammad (peace be upon him) is. If you have any question, ask and i'll teach you. You dont have to get overexcited and be rude. Why are you critisizing subjects you base no knowledge of?
@benjaminwilt5921
@benjaminwilt5921 8 жыл бұрын
+Xoz eXoz You do realize that the atmosphere's formed millions of years before Muhammad and the Quran? And you only need to know basic scientific knowledge to understand why these objects are being destroyed as they enter the atmosphere? Why would you believe in something that is not proven, yet proclaimed by those it benefits, rather than something that is proven and proclaimed by those of which it has no benefit besides further research such as scientists and science?
@MikeGreenwood51
@MikeGreenwood51 8 жыл бұрын
+Xoz eXoz If the facts of madhammad are in your view a criticism then it is the fact that is a criticism, but I am not criticising myself. Just publishing the same facts as stated in the Hadiths, the quran and taught by Imans. So yes, if I quote from Mahammad then I am for sure quoting wrong, sometimes. I apologize to you, if you are a non muslim so think facts of Islam are rude. A few hundred beheaddings may seem rude. Or 500,000 murdered in Syria or the 800,000 murdered in Darfur. Those may all seem rude to you as a non muslim. But to muslims in those terrorised areas those are the facts. You do not say what it is you teach. So no way can I accept your offer. Also as explained. The facts are not my personal criticism. God is not my personal property. So the subject I wrote of is not a subject I have no Knowledge of.
@MikeGreenwood51
@MikeGreenwood51 8 жыл бұрын
+Xoz eXoz I did ask a question. IE. Who is the 'We', you refer to in your statement. If you wanted to teach. Then there was an opening. Who is the 'We' in the Quran so often quoted? Usually a 'We' written more than a thousand years after the event was reported to have occured. Such as ''Remember 'We' did this or 'We' gave you that''. Also why was it being told to the Judaeans in the 7th Century 1400 years after the events. What relevance has it today? Who are those 'We'? Mahammad could not read for himeself. So was dependant on his chief writer. When he coveted the property of his neibours, their wives, women, children, slaves, camels, silks, goats, Jewels, spices money and religion. He coveted the passages of the religious texts that he liked or thought were good. He never read. So heard them from the reader who selected passages. Selective passages. Some of the stories they reinterpreted the way that suited them. Other stories went on to explain what occured and why God punished the perpetrators. Why they went to captivity. Or why that king or Prophet lost all, died or was murdered. Mahammad was not able to read the conclusion to the stories himself. So he never learnt that many existed as examples. Guidance reference material. Some had disastrous consequences. So though he liked the supposed conquest passages. He didn't read the whole story. The story of a persecuted people. Peculiar to the Lord. The stories of Babylonian captivity and being dispersed. A story of centuries of waiting for their salvation from their grief, misery and life of wandering the deserts. So unluckily Mahammad just copied the triumphal into battle parts to serve the merciless god of that story. The Gods mercilessness may have been justified. He may have had evidence against the intented victims. Or it mayhave been a good bedtime story for Sabbath Synagogue days. Written after or during Babylonian captivity they were written after the events so by some story teller who was not at the battle. It is so much easier to write heroic stories of great conquests 300 years afterwards when no pain or punishment is to come for ghe story writer. So great embellishments and great victories. The ancient story tellers as poets were well revered. Even in madhammads day the weekly market where madhammad later preached were frequented by poets and story tellers. So as he couldn't read. He did not get so far as to find out what the punishments from that god were. So you may find the Quran is only an instruction manual instructing, Conquest, murder, rape, looting, robbery, pillaging, taqiyyaing (lying) and that muslims souls are given to allah and their lives are worthless compared to death for the afterlife, hereafter. Oh the Quran does instruct aputations for crimes as well as death for offences such as a muslim staying at home. Or leaving the kleptocratic religion of Islam. So in that sense the book is self contradictory and full of hypocrisy. On the one hand it instructs robbery, looting and pillagind sanctioned by allah but on the other hand it instructs the theifs hand to be amputaded. It instructs Jihad and conquest but on the other hand it instructs the persons limbs to be cut off from opposite sides if he/she causes disturbances. Sactioned by allah by mad madhammad. To contradict him is death according to the quran.

How do satellites survive in the extreme heat of the thermosphere?
@THERIOTCLANOFTRUTH
@THERIOTCLANOFTRUTH 9 жыл бұрын
Apparently in the thermosphere, there is not enough gas to actually effect the temperature of the satellites... Which makes no sense at all, because if you are in orbit, you are now apart of the atmosphere which means that if you are in the thermosphere, and it is 4000 degrees F, you should be that temperature! Not to mention... Satellites are made of metal! The best conductor of heat!
@hfeinberg87
@hfeinberg87 9 жыл бұрын
+David Swick The Riot Clan is onto something - there is not enough gas. Temperature is just a measure of how much molecules are moving - faster = hotter, slower = colder. But in the thermosphere the amount of molecules is so few that it doesn't FEEL hot, but the molecules are moving around at really zippy speeds.

+Adam Zameen And God put the mark of cain upon cain as a sign that he should be known, as Cain had murdered his brother. Then mad madhammad the cave man instructed his dersert bandits to murder their way in to Mecca to destroy other peoples religions and customs. Then he continued to murder people. Instructing enve muslims who wanted to stay at home to be murded. He also instructed muslims to murder their sisters, brothers, mothers and fathers if they refused to convert to mad madhammad's devil god allah satana. The god of lies taqiyya, murder and theft. Eve had another son. Abel. Cain was not happy, he felt persercuted. All would know him as he had the mark. Madhammad felt persecuted.As he was banished from Mecca for the threat the chiefs felt he was. He felt persecuted when being stoned out of another inhabited place. As he robbed more and more caravans becimung a hunted bandit he felt persercuted for that. He decided it was given him to murder as he said being banished is worst thing there is, worse even than mueder. He started murdering, alone with theft and rape. He experienced more persercution. He beheaded about 700 Jews. He issued instructions to murder Jews, Christians and non muslums. But a Jewish Prophetess fed him and a companion poison. The companion dropped dead. Mad Madhammad stopped eatting by died 4 years later having never recovered from the poison. Madhammad ceased feeling persercuted. But his followers felt persercuted. Persercuted by muslims. Persercuted by Jews, by Christians and by non muslims. Most nations hound and persercute murderers. That is what they have police for. So did God give a clear sign saying he had put a mark in Cain. Did madhammad turn away from the sign? Do muslims live according to signs? The Quran is a book of taqiyya. The sign of the devil. In the quran, murderers, robbers, liars looters and rapists go to muslim Janah. The place where murderers, robbers, theives, looters and rapists go after life.
