I remember (on PC Free Aim) I've had at least 6 *very* nasty incidents with guys who've killed me and then ended up running off. The most particular one that stands out is a group of 5 who thought they could chance against me. Killed me in my camp by surprise at first and they got a few kills up on me for a little bit. They ended up using explosive bullets and arrows with PIB. The Slippery Bastard glass cannon that I am, managed to wash 4 every death before going down because they'd always have someone camping in the back. Since we were fighting in the desert, which is my playground, i had the upper hand on terrain and how to use it. We kept fighting until I lured them up to my crowned sombrero ridge, where there was only one pathway up and its height is too tall to throw anything up or even shoot me off. So I ended up tossing volleys of gas and volatile dynamite in their way until one got through and died to the dynamite. They eventually called it quits badmouthing me and calling me a cheater because in the beginning they'd gotten cocky and greedy until I punished them. Surprisingly though, all the guys who say the most nasty shit sound British. Like, REALLY nasty stuff.

I just started red dead online and I had just got my first 15 gold bars for the bounty hunter and prestigious bounty hunter role and then purchased some for the trader role, and while I'm doing a delivery for $150, which is good to me, I got haggle by 2 men. Both passed level 100. I was only level 35 and I'm still relatively close to that level, but they tried to steal my wagon but I killed both of them and got the wagon to the safe spot. Instead of leaving me alone after, they both ganged up on me and still lost. I don't know if they were just ass at the game or if I was playing against bots. They sucked. I was also playing as a female character and I'm only at level 40 now

I can barely play my female alt without getting slews of nasty shite messaged at me (turned messages/friend requests off but that means it's harder for the nice people in the game if I want to befriend someone etc) and being ganked. I come from 13 years of WoW, 11 of which were spent on PVP servers. I'm used to being ganked, even in defensive mode, but just why? Let me hunt and pick up my fucking collectables dammit.

(Am subbing, this content is great and so is that hat!) ETA: For anyone that finds my comment - yes I've clips on my account that are likely public, and yes I'm that trash at aim and PVP. I don't know if it makes sense but I want to play RDO in a private server with no other players. I mostly play defensive mode but sometimes it slips up and I am getting ambushed by players. I have played both with male and female characters and my female ones were getting attacked way more often. I don't know if there is a community of incels infiltrating, but it's weird.

I wish there was a way to stop skinning animals like stopping mid way mechanic because this happened to me 2 days straight (high lvl player kills me while I was skinning with their shotguns or they would hold me as hostage in a store) and I can't defend myself because I'm a low level and with bad aim. I've bad aim here as well, but there's some good card/weapon builds that can help build on your strengths! I'm laughably terrible in PVP which is why I avoid it, but I'll fight back if someone shoots my horse, shoots my hat off, is making r!@e threats at me, or attacking a low level for no reason.

I have two characters, one male and one female. I noticed that if I dress up 'edgy' on my male character, all black, skull bandana etc, he gets into shootouts more often. However, when I dress up my female character 'edgy' all black skull bandana, she rarely gets into shootouts, which I find is interesting.

Just do Horley's/Marshal Davies missions, Blood Money Missions (Repeat the ones you know will give you the most money if you just want to grind up money), Hunt and Sell (Perfect Pelts get you more money), Do treasure map hunts to find gold and items to sell for money, Randomly loot NPCs even if they have low amounts of money, Do bounty hunts, Trade, Become a collector. So many ways to make money

The difference is that it happens consistently to players who prefer dresses over pants. How about you test it. Wear a colorful gown on red dead or a dress and see how long it takes for people to start shit with you. Despite my sassy attitude and my temper, style-wise and preference-wise I'm a classic girly girl. I like frills and pastel colors and dressing cute, in real life and on the games I play. Tomboyish chicks in black and cowboy hats don't stand out the same way so they get attacked less because, from a distance, their gender is ambiguous. People don't see a chick until they're up close. That's not the case with dresses like mine and that's why its a struggle.

I've also managed 3 of the biggest/oldest female-only gta crews on the newswire and have witnessed firsthand across multiple games the differences that guys deal with. I also have a secondary account with a male character that's the same level as this one. I NEVER get bothered. EVER. Literally. This type of shit doesn't happen nearly as often to male characters/players. Furthermore the people who DON'T attack almost ALWAYS wind up flirting and being creepy so its not like NOT being attacked means we aren't being bugged. You're lucky you're a guy.

@@kyalliara2688 these are griefers and don't care about whom to attack I've played RDO since PC release (2018), the first and the only character I have is female character, level 213. I'd say 8/10 times people are just passing by. I play on PC, Europe region so maybe that's why we have different experience. The others who attacked me are either griefers or low ranked players who shoot any player they see while not understanding what's happening and thinking the game is about PVP only. While on Bounty Hunting free roam mission I've got attacked by some dude with a beginner's repeater shooting me from a cliff far away, thinking probably that if I'm shooting and making a noise then I'm asking for it. Clearly he didn't know that I have Carcano sniper rifle nor even saw if I'm playing male or female character from that distance, so after getting one shotted 2 times he just ran away, had quite a lot of encounters like this and people clearly were new
