Im a scripter with 1 year experience and that is to: Make big problems smaller problems. For example u want it to rain tacos: u first need to spawn the taco, and make the taco. Im not good at explaining but what im trying to tell is to make big problems multiple smaller problems.

Start doing small systems. There are a lot of tutorials on the Roblox creator hub for you to follow along and learn multiple useful tools, not just how to follow the tutorial and make a specific thing, you need to understand the actual tools you're using to use them in different applications. Don't keep watching solely videos and tutorials, it is a waste of time. You will only learn with practice and following along with them. Another useful advice is to get solid on the fundamentals. The fundamentals are something you will always be using in any script, it doesn't matter what it is, so actually knowing them and how they work is essential for a smooth learning curve. Also, it will essentially help you to understand advanced things more easily, because they are heavily based on the fundamentals in the majority of time. For the last advice, don't forget to gather experience. The key thing that will make you progress as a scripter is experience, because it will allow you to see many applications and patterns you already did in the past for new logics, mixing them with newer experiences and progressing more and more just like that.

Tbh I just make games to play them with friends. We have a lot of fun playing with them and this is what encourages me to update it even tho there are no players. I just want new features to test with my friends. So if you are making a game; don't do it for the fame or the robux. Do it to express creativity and do it because it's fun. Just have making and playing them; whether it gains visits or not.

You just explained the only reason i use roblox studio LOL although when making a game i slowly started to abondon it bc i thought it was designed to fail but after a bit my cousin wanted to play some of my games so we went through my games and he found it he wanted to try it out and i said sure so we get on play a bit and then hop off but the thing is is that he enjoyed it so much that he was (and still is) trying to encourage me to get my game popular i tried when ad's didnt cost like 35 bucks and it got a decent amount of attention but at the time i was like "Wow people actully are playing this game" so i join someone in it and i ask if they think i should get it popular and they said yes and said that its an underated game so yeah *sorry for yappin alot* but do YOU think i should get it popular? *again sorry for the yappin*

Well this is the developer's fault for not sponsoring their games properly, or have a low CTR. These are the dev's fault.

getting games sponsored is a difficult and very expensive process. it's like an auction; the highest price wins. you have to compete with so many people with hundreds and even thousands of real life dollars (in robux) just to get your game even near the front page. it may just be the fault of the corrupt practices roblox's corporation does towards their developers, which include children.
