1:06:51 Bill hit the mail on the head! The lanes are definitely paved in different directions. I hauled asphalt for years back in the day, and have seen it first hand. They are not going to do one lane then move that machine all the way to the other end and start the next lane!!! Great podcast.

My step dad had a nostalgia dragster. He has passed away. But we are out of Michigan. We always went to the Lapeer International Dragway, and Ubly Dragway. Even back in the day he sponsored a race and put 1,000$ to the race. He got kicked off track for being to fast.. Happened in both places. Don't even see to many cars like he raced anymore.. R.I.P. We all love a close race. They’re the most exciting races to watch and the easiest way to have those types of races is to have evenly matched cars racing each other. If everyone has the same shot at winning, you’ll see a lot more racers, and hopefully less tracks shutting down.

Jonathan Atkins told me it's a Motown block in his car the grub worm he has a completely different setup as well ones an SBC and one is LT1 based he said.. now I don't know if he meant it's an aftermarket and that's why he said LT1 based or if he's actually using a stock LT1 block which I just couldn't see it.. next time it's at Rock solid Motorsports or I see it in person I'll check it out

Not easy but if you get rid of the tv and social media you can spend some time working at it every day. That’s what I did. I work 60 a week, do an hour and 20 walk every day, and still make time to to do something in the garage every night. No matter how small.
