I want to give something for the baby, but I don't know where will I address it. The real reason for watching your weight gain is that if the baby gets so large and it won't come out, then your Obstetrician might opt for a caesarean section, than a normal, spontaneous vaginal delivery. As both of you are enthusiastic now , for the arrival of your first child, I can see the unconditional love this baby will receive from both of you. Ave, maybe you your OB don't want you to gain too much weight. abstain from sugary treats. Eat more of your greens, fruits , grains, and low fat dairy. You want the baby to be healthy. Being married for 48 years to my one and only husband, i will say, to have a successful marriage is comminication, trust each other, and stay in love. Same here with my family in the Philippines and here in the US, we make it a point that Sunday is a rest day, going to church and lunch or dinner with family. Sundays are for family members. Being a dad for the first time will be probably new to you but you will be one good dad, you take care and listen to Ave and helps her a lot at home. You are such a good husband, son and in 4 months you will be a " dad". God bless you and your family.

There are no rules for fatherhood, just go with the flow. Don't think about it as it will just come naturally. I had no clue but 3 boys later I think I did a good job. Ave will be the driving force and just be there to support her. There will be highs and lows but with love and attention things will work out. Filipinas make the best mums, and we just need to support them. Give that support and things will work out just fine.

At first, you will be encountering struggles you never experienced before like waking up in wee hours and all, changing diapers, etc. But you eill overcome them and eventually will get used to it. Love the whole concept of this video and its fun and interesting to know your own perspective on this whole dad gig! You may have to jumped off a heli to sky dive or do backflip jumping from a cliff or 20 meter free diving or do any other daring stunts, but none of them mean more than anything than being called somebody's dad! For most couples, the big change is when you have the baby in your hands and the immense responsibility sets in. For you two, there’s the lifestyle change as you are now tied down. What can happen is that small problems crop up that normally would not occur or the were always there but not a problem in the past. It can be like the kids game “wack a mole”. You think that your need to wack each mole that pops up and maybe you do. However, what one needs to to do is to step back, look at the big picture of life style change as the culprit and instead focus on amping up the relationship in new ways. Yes, this happens in most relationships where one needs to see a pattern and realize that there’s a systemic thing that needs to be addressed. That’s my two cents of Dad wisdom for what it’s worth.

Ive always wondered how did you prepare for each trip? how do you do your research? how and when is the best way/time to purchase the tickets? how do u look for legit and cheap airbnb/hotel?
