great new band! So glad these young guys love the Stone's..that band as well as the beatles and Trex were so grand! Stones chords- bad boy look and sound but you also sound like bowie-mick, freddie mercury totally 70's style!! great! bringing it back!

I worked in the Music Industry for about 20 years.(1984-2004.) IF the Music Biz still functioned the way it did before the 1990's, I'd say your comment was valid. Unfortunately, the business has changed so much, that a band "keeping their heads about themselves" doesn't make as much difference anymore. Rock bands used to last decades, partly because they had relatively loyal record label support, from the Major labels, who could afford to be patient. In the new Millenium, things have been a lot more tenuous for record companies. There used to be 7 Majors; Now there's 2. For 20 years now, kids rip their songs off the internet for free, or pretty close to it. Having said that, The Struts are talented and smart. Hopefully they'll be around for a very long time. (*F.Y.I: *IF the biz worked like the Golden 1980's, The Struts second album would have been released a year after the First one was. You can bet on that!!
