Uncompromising and aggressive fighting in the striking style brought the English fighter Michael Bisping the UFC champion belt and world fame. And his team was a match. One of them was the American fighter Moises Murietta. Who, like Bisping, had excellent striking technique and the ability to destroy his opponents. Finishing his amateur career with an overall record of 2-0, he added four wins in four professional fights, after which he appeared in the M-1 Challenge rank.
Moses immediately, as they say, showed his “product face” at the M-1 Challenge 77 tournament. Then he staged a bloody battle with a former fighter of the special forces reconnaissance company “Berkut” Andrei Seledtsov. Only the Russian’s incredible resilience in that fight brought him to the judges’ decision, which was unanimously and deservedly made in favor of the American fighter. Murietta was ready to continue his impeccable winning streak.
And on August 5, 2017, at the M-1 Challenge 82 tournament, he faced the young Russian prospect Ruslan Shamilov, who was fighting only the second professional fight in his career. But he certainly cannot be called a beginner in martial arts. Twice he became the bronze medalist of the Russian MMA championship, simultaneously winning the championships of the Pskov region and Northwestern Federal District several times, reached the finals of the Russian championship, and won a gold medal at the very first championship of our country among students.
