Fun Fact about Chris Bahr: He is the son of Walter Bahr a member of the 1950 US Men's National Soccer team that famously beat England in the 1950 World Cup. Walter Bahr later coached Chris at Penn Sate. Before becoming a kicker in the NFL, Chris was actually drafted by the Philadelphia Atoms of the NASL in 1975 where he played one season scoring 11 goals which was a record for an American born player at the time.

If Upchurch wasn’t performing well on the field, Dan Reeves would have cut him. That’s probably why the Raiders never cut Lyle Alzado despite him using steroids.

The league was, and is a joke when it comes to "drug testing". This happened back in the days when weed wasn't in arthritis meds, cancer treatments, gummy candies, and dog treats. Back when weed was BAD!!! The horror, the horror. Oh, yeah, and there's no sense in having a rule if you're not going to enforce it, no matter how silly the rule is. It’s not stupid at all. Good for Dan Reeves. This video is stupid to take this time to talk about something like positive test for cannabis. I think you have badly misread the structure that teams (and the league) operate under. Laws are very little, as is precedent, the model is authoritarian and the coach has all the power (or the comish the last decade..) Lawyers care about boundaries and precedent, coaches care about what they say, and if they have to contradict themselves, so be it. There is a reason this sort of thing comes up at every collective-bargining.

Even in 2022 I'm still not down for the medical excuse when it comes to Marijuana usage.
@igorslocks2 жыл бұрын
And my man it's not an excuse. Let me educate you here. The crystals are the developing seed embryos defense against UV Radiation. Ok and simply put, UV Radiation= Cancer. For just about everything that is alive on this planet. So do you think it's a big stretch that the plant has positive medical benefits in this regard. Them there's pain, anxiety, etc. And I can tell you first hand I had a dog who unfortunately came down with Lymphoma. He was a terrible candidate for chemo for many reasons so I put him on CBD Oil. The weekend of AFC/NFC Championship games 2017 he looked terrible, like he was dying. He still had an appetite and I had just gotten a new vial of CBD Oil and I gave him almost the entire thing, which was his largest dose up to that point. The next day we got improvement and 2 days later he was fine(or as fine as possible considering the Lymphoma). When he died a few months later, he looked exactly the same as he did that AFC/NFC Title game weekend. That extra time I got with him is beyond priceless to me. Mark my words, in maybe 15/20 years the majority of ppl on the planet will be taking CBD as a preventative. It works, I saw it first hand. If something works it works. It trumps stupid politics or lame ass agendas. Bottom line.
