One of our guinea pigs died unexpectedly while we were on vacation in another state once (like 3 days' worth of travel away at least), and the pet sitter called us, freaking out. I can only imagine what she felt like. We made sure to reassure her that it wasn't her fault and that these things happen sometimes, that guinea pigs are disturbingly good at hiding when things are wrong health-wise until it's too late bc prey animal instincts, and mentioned that we would like to be able to give her (the guinea pig) a proper burial if it was possible. So we asked her to put the body in a gallon ziplock bag in the freezer to preserve it until we got back. Cocoa Puff was given a sweet little funeral service and buried in our backyard beneath a wooden cross when we returned home. In hindsight, I can only imagine how morbid it must've been for the pet sitter to repeatedly have to show up to care for the surviving pigs, all the while knowing that the body of the one that died unexpectedly was still in the house, in the fucking freezer like 50 feet away.

The Cyclops already uses a proper moonpool style airlock, and the docking hatch is technically a flush style airlock. Vehicles and bases already get infinite oxygen at no significant power cost, so flushing large spaces might just be easier.

Watching this made me compare WPE with the Big Bang theory TV show with Ellis being Sheldon because of things like his precious metal club, his Persian rugs, and his dislike of people cathedral being Amy because they look similar and she's with Ellis. Then there's jake who is Leonard because he's often the but of Ellis's (Sheldon) jokes and the way he acts sometimes then you've got gabby who is jolly and happy go lucky on stream aswell as being really dramatic sometimes and then we have Alex who is Howard with his creepiness and weirdness and the fact he looks like a thirty year old man who lives with his parents and last but not least is nick who reminds me of rajesh cause I can proper imagine him being all gooey and all child voices and motherly with a chihuahua or a pug. Regarding the hamster in the freezer, my cousin is a gerbil and degu breeder so she routinely has dead rodents in her freezer because she usually incinerate them by throwing the corpses in a campfire. I kept my deceased hedgehog in the freezer for half a year because she died in winter and it was too cold to make a fire to incinerate it. It's not really weird considering most people keep chopped up animals in the freezer for consumption. And no, they don't smell because they are frozen. It's not weirder than keeping feeder animals in the freezer for snakes or reptiles. It's just frozen meat that isn't deboned yet. What is really weird is opening the freezer and the body bag from time to time to pet your dead cat, like my cousin does.
