I believe they're running only 4-car trains due to part of the platform being closed off for elevator reconstruction at Mondawmin.

Miami and Atlanta had cars that came in the 1980's,if memory serves! Same vintage, taking after Budd/ St.Louis Car stainless equipment! There were equivalent cars on the NYCTA! THANK YOU 😇!

You should look up the 2 different future lines they are studying. There is a proposal in each that is heavy rail subway.

Take it from me... I dread our lowly subway line BUT there is a slight possibility of expansion in it's future in regards to how this RTP program progresses through the proposals. One of them gives the probability of Metro being expanded. We'll see though...

The only subway line in the world-no exaggeration, to have lost population.along its route in the city. Your video shows it, escalators that don't work, empty cars devoid of passengers, stations without attendants to collect fares since there would be so few of them-students ride for free now

Will the system receive new trains like the ones in Miami?
@MJofLakelandX2 жыл бұрын
Yes, later this year for testing but it won't be until 2024 once they enter service. They're gonna be Hitachi -- just like Miami -- but different fascia and setup.
