Agree totally. Had all albums on CD. Tried and tried and tried to "get over it", but sorry, Einar ruined their catalog. IMHO, every song would be better w/o any contribution vocally from him. Back in the day, the radio stations would frequently opine the same thing. Ugh. Re-master?

She had a creepy freeking stalker for years. He tried sending a bomb to her in England and it would have gotten there but he made this long video about his hatred of her after she started dating an African American guy...he then suicided right after he finished. The whole thing was online. When they found his body a couple days later they played the tape and heard about the bomb and called the authorities in England and they intercepted it.

Björk is an absolute genius when it comes to translating emotion to sound and vision. Almost too much currently. Her new stuff is like visiting a future museum where every piece is almost overwhelming in it's ability to evoke the emotional response of the viewer. Nice for a visit but It would be hard to live there. The dynamics of the Sugarcubes on the other hand, where the emotions come across as highs and lows, the squeals of joy and the growls of distain all mixed up with the driving beat and noodley guitar is the kind of sound art that I want around my house and often have. Thank you, Björk!

***** The only thing worthy of attention in this song is Bjork's voice. This instrumentalization and the voice of this man - a nightmare...

robokopo OK if you think so. Her latest song has none of the drive or musicality of this and is a struggle to listen to for me. Einar or whatever his name is was the punk side of the Sugarcubes and made them a very exciting band live and in interviews.

+stevefm fm Her solo stuff has been brilliant in my opinion. Very different from the Sugarcubes but not at all lacking drive and musicality! She puts a lot of work into it. Thank you for defending Einar. He was awesome. These people just want to hear a pretty voice with no contrast I guess.

Trivia: what Bjork is singing in the refrain is “Eg og hann, Eg og hann!” Icelandic translation: “Me and him, me and him!” When I first heard the song I thought she was singing “Gedren! Gedren!” (The evil queen in Red Sonja)

Hahaha, would you believe me if I told you that after five thousand years it is the first time I see this video? hahaha, woooow, how time flies, it's incredible, and the other thing, I had already heard this song hundreds of times but I always thought that the part sung or rapped by the guy had been done by John Schneider from B-52, THE VOICE IS QUITE SIMILAR AS JHON'S VOICE, anyway, listening to Sugarcubes always brings back great memories, cheers ;)
