[Verse 1: Björk] Riding on my bicycle I saw a motorcrash A proper motorcrash And lots of spectators I rushed to the centre Saw the injured parents Cuts on the children An awful motorcrash [Chorus: Björk] Dangerous motorcrash Terribly bloody motorcrash Destructive motorcrash Oh, oh, oh [Verse 2: Björk] Took the mother Sneaked with her secretly Went to my home And nursed her gently Put on her bandages, gave her Milk and biscuits She sighed pleasantly after this Awful motorcrash [Chorus: Björk] It's a dangerous dangerous motorcrash Terribly bloody motorcrash Destructive motorcrash Oh, oh, oh [Interlude: Einar] That girl on that bicycle showed great interest In all the motorcrashes in the neighbourhood She looked quite innocent [Bridge: Björk] Then we disguised ourselves Took a taxi to her home When her husband answered the door She introduced herself, he said "Where have you been all this time?" Oh, oh, oh [Outro: Einar] But believe you me I know what innocence looks like But she showed increased interest After she got that bicycle

Ah......back when MTV was youtube and we can find other songs by artists and find more bands in this genera. People borne before 2000, we needed to listen to MTV and the radio to find niche bands. What I love about "rock" Bjork (this and "coldsweat" are good examples) is the fact that her voice is "girly"+powerful and heavy at the same time(robust soprano) and therefore her belts are light AND piercing. Usually only "heavier" voices can pierce like that (think Whitney for example). Like, I can picture NO ONE singing this better. And she also had supreme belting technique. I think she did more interesting things as a solo artist but this is her top tier era for me, vocally.

well i agree with that about the hype -- the kind of stuff you read on a corporate review of an album...but bjork is more than "just a singer." she also spends a lot of time thinking about each album she makes, developing the concept she wants to express, assembling the sound palette she will use to do so, making the beats, and then letting her voice go crazy once all the backing tracks are made...you should look into this...
