This video by Ma' Mara Sakit Village with support from the Embassy of Canada-South Sudan focuses on the "Suk-Sukna Project, a bead-making project that aims to enhance women and girls' knowledge and skills in designing and recreating South Sudanese traditional beads to promote unique, beautiful, and creative South Sudanese and Pan-African cultures. “Suk-Sukna” is a South Sudanese Arabic phrase loosely translated to ‘our beads.’ The video only focuses on two types of beads, the Otuho and Dinka traditional beaded women and girls corsets.
