The only word I understand besides “shirk” and “bidat” and “Aqeedah” is “Deobandi”, and I’m not Deobandi. …. Oh, I see “Wahhabi” in there too…. Sorry but it’s not extremist to supplicate ONLY to Allah. That is what TAWHEED is all about. The Sahabi didn’t supplicate to other than Allah. Neither did Abu Hanifa. To do so is shirk!

سورہ یونس - آیت 49 بِسْمِ ٱللَّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ قُل لَّآ أَمْلِكُ لِنَفْسِى ضَرًّۭا وَلَا نَفْعًا إِلَّا مَا شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ ۗ لِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلٌ ۚ إِذَا جَآءَ أَجَلُهُمْ فَلَا يَسْتَـْٔخِرُونَ سَاعَةًۭ ۖ وَلَا يَسْتَقْدِمُونَ ٤٩ کہو ”میرے اختیار میں خُود اپنا نفع و ضرر بھی نہیں، سب کچھ اللہ کی مشیّت پر موقوف ہے۔ ہر اُمّت کے لیے مہلت کی ایک مدّت ہے، جب یہ مدّت پُوری ہو جاتی ہے تو گھڑی بھر کی تقدیم و تاخیر بھی نہیں ہوتی۔“ - Tafheem e Qur'an - Syed Abu Ali Maududi (اے نبی !) آپ کہہ دیجیے کہ میں تو خود اپنی جان کے لیے بھی کوئی اختیار نہیں رکھتا نہ کسی ضرر کا نہ نفع کا سوائے اس کے جو اللہ چاہے۔ ہر امت کے لیے ایک وقت معینّ ہے۔ جب ان کا وقت آجاتا ہے تو پھر نہ تو وہ اس کو ایک گھڑی مؤخر کرسکتے ہیں اور نہ ہی اسے پہلے لاسکتے ہیں۔ - بیان القرآن (ڈاکٹر اسرار احمد) Say, "I possess not for myself any harm or benefit except what Allāh should will. For every nation is a [specified] term. When their time has come, then they will not remain behind an hour, nor will they precede [it]." - Saheeh International Say, “I have no power to bring a harm or a benefit to myself, except what Allah wills. For every people there is an appointed time. When their time comes, they are not able to put it off for a moment, nor are they able to go ahead of it.” - Mufti Taqi Usmani
