It’s my birthday and have the sun in the 7th house, after a 10 year period of low confidence my self esteem feels stronger. An extended period of therapy has recently ended and I realise that the relationship with my internal system (my parts) is far more important than the need for a relationship. Having the time and space to focus on writing and painting without having to attend to the needs of a partner or children is absolute bliss.

Adam my friend. I’m a ‘post Christian animist’ and really appreciate your vivifying of the celestial bodies. Mate I have one existential conflict that first had roots in Christianity but now is confronted by the Buddhist idea that suffering or desire is the ultimate problem. #grabbed I have an Aries Sun conjunct the North Node with Jupiter among other very interesting placements haha😅 My earliest message of soul conviction was to embrace your passions and harness the life force in what you desire to create whatever you willed. Yet I have struggled with this. We preach best what we need most… My bro, ambition feels cursed yet I believe it’s holy. And the path to channel the fully spirit of desire is a treacherous, tempestuous one which I’ve witness in relationship repeatedly. Of course.

8:48 my north node is in my 9th house and the sun is conjunct the north node now in my 11th house, but this resonated with me in respect to what's been going on in my 10th house. Until a few months ago I used to believe that getting on my desired career path was the thing that would bring me that ultimate perfect happiness. The field I want to go into is something I've been passionate about since childhood and I got really wrapped up in this idea that if I got to make a career out of something that I truly loved it would "save me" from being a sad adult. A combination of things lead me to letting go of that belief pretty hard a few months ago, maybe it has something to do with Saturn transiting that house and stripping away all the delusion that has been building since Neptune started transiting it back in 2011. I'm still actively pursuing the same career path, I just simply do not have it within me to assign that much weight to anything anymore. Letting it go has been really freeing.

So helpful. As someone with my out of sect malefic conjunct both the NN and As ruler, this is such a good reminder about the insatiability of Rahu. The same question of “what now” always at the end of every journey. Doesn’t make the let down easier, but it does provide an avenue for self acceptance. For me, that is one of the greatest gifts of astrology. Thank you.
