All Sundance comes from Mandan People. The Okipa was a reenactment if the beginning times. Speckled Eagle and lone man. The sioux sundance is a shorter mandan version and the songs are mandan translated into lakota or dakota. words from Frank Fools Crow.

A hamster in a cage surrounded by a busy household with threats all around, likely believes his tiny hole is the safest place.
