Good job on the awesome great one! I played way of the hunter tonight and i finally got my first 2 5 stars in the game and they were both whitetail down in diamond drill on the same day. I didnt even know i had a second 5 star. I paid attention to a herd with 2 4 star matures and i accidentally killed the one 4 star, but the other 4 star made it and i was so happy. I sped up the time for him which i dont know how the community views it, but i was just so ready to just fast forward time and finally see how big he could get

My biggest tips would be to definitely keep at it, though I know it can be tough! And I’ve had better success since I stopped shooting the smallest males for whatever species I’m grinding (lvl 1 whitetail, lvl 1-2 moose/fallow etc). Sending luck your way, I hope you get your great one soon!

Mainly focusing on bigger bucks/bulls as mentioned. Not bothering shooting really small stuff as it shows up along the grind. 😊

@@melsgaming375 so a light herd management; which really IRL if you show up at a hot spot for bucks you are not taking down the little ones anyways and will always go for the bigger trophy. It’s what I do, because I’m on console I find it had to get more than one Buck at a zone, so I always shoot the biggest one; rinse and repeat.

I do something a little different, that most seem to be calling “light management” now. Basically I just kill everything to begin with for the most part, but as really small males show up (like lvl 1 whitetail) I just leave them alone and don’t bother shooting those deer again. Yep pretty much! Went from Medved after shooting the moose great one to do some grinding on Revontuli and he spawned after one run!

I would stream if I could! Unfortunately with my internet it’s not currently possible- and the fact I have autism and anxiety would make streaming difficult even if I had the ability to. I have a recorded collab grind video with Flinter and Kyla tho that basically shows how I grind! Also please remember I have nearly 6k hours in this game, and do daily sessions of 12-15 hours, often just grinding for certain trophies. I’ve been very fortunate recently with some incredibly short grinds, but prior to this I’ve had much longer grinds (nearly 8k for my first moose GO, 4.3k for my first fallow GO etc). As mentioned I have recently changed my grinding strategy a bit and no longer bother shooting the smallest lvls for the species I’m grinding (lvl 1 whitetail, 1-2 moose/fallow/bears) so that may also have had some impact with these grinds being shorter! I do not cheat, never have cheated, and despise all forms of cheats/mods as it takes away from genuine hard workers like myself and other creators. ✌️ (Ps I literally *do not* get a great one everyday, I wish I did lol!)
