0:59 is the longest sentence we've heard from Chris Pratt's Mario and I gotta say, it's not even half as bad as people are saying it is? Certainly no worse than Peach. People can have whatever personal opinion they want on the guy himself or even the practice of using non-voice actors for star power over actual ability (I think that Charles Martinet should have been Mario no matter how good whoever else they picked was), but I really think that as a performance this is getting way more flack than it deserves. I'm looking forward to hearing more out of this Mario!

As far as storywriting, I totally agree with you. Pixar's movies have been lame ducks as of late. The last *GOOD* original pixar movie I can remember watching in theatres was _Inside Out_ and that was like 8 years ago.

Peach has always been this way, it just isn't as obvious in the core Mario games. She's actually stronger than Mario himself, being able to knock Bowser across the entire Mushroom Kingdom without any power-ups.
