Seeing how it's partially spliced from trailer footages (along with an April Fools prank), this isn't bad in terms of how the movie actually started. Bowser of course getting the Power Star from the Ice Kingdom (I legit wish he said "NOW WHO'S GONNA STOP ME!!!" like the trailer though) The Super Mario Bros Plumbing Commercial playing (which of course was different in the final film) Mario and Luigi getting a call (plus the Gamecube ringtone) Although the biggest differences were that they were at a pizza joint (which included Foreman Spike bullying Mario/Luigi and Charles Martinet as Giuseppe praising their voices) and their van was broken down.

So.. spoilers M, it’s actually how it opened. There were extra touches here and there, but it was basically the same. The only difference is that bowser said “no one can stop me” instead of “who’s gonna stop me” And Chris Pratt actually does do the Charles martinet voice for a gag. Mario made up the voice as a tribute to his friend jumpman. Voiced by the real martinet whose line basically says that it was a perfect impression.
