The Superior Hiking Trail

Howdy! Much of the trip in Minnesota included backpacking, which provides the combination of sauntering and camping. It was a bit of a workout, and the only downside was that the mosquitoes were absolutely horrid for this time of year. Despite their annoyances, they still play a crucial role in the food web. Mosquitoes also play a role as pollinators, especially males. It is only the female mosquito 🦟 that will go after your blood. They need that substance as a protein source to support new eggs after reproduction.
Minnesota in this area is often regarded for the boreal forest, which is often marked by Birch, poplar, and other conifers. For instance, Jack Pine is very prevalent up this way. The Superior Hiking Trail is also a trail network that runs from Duluth to the Canada Border. Fortunately, it is very well-marked, and you should also always carry a map with you in case if your phone has limited service. In my case, my service was hardly visible for two days.
