Blame the media or radio today . You could have a silverchair, grinspoon or superjesus going on right now but radio is heavily skewed to rnb and trap. Even pop struggles .

@@bernyoz Well I guess you can't expect the hot 40's type stations to ever play ball, but you'd hope for JJJ at least to support rock, and they kind of do, but most music on JJJ these days seems to be "indie" which is now a genre of light pop with weak talent rather than a method of record distribution.. But I digress.. Radios just play what the people want to hear. If young Australians who liked music other than top 40s pop enjoyed rock then surely JJJ's catalogue and especially top 100 would reflect that given it is entirely user voted. I just think rock of any kind is not popular here anymore

Takes me back... I'll never forget the time I went to see Garbage at the Hordern in Sydney, not knowing who their support would be. Imagine how stoked I was when I heard these guys doing soundcheck as I rocked up! Such an awesome gig that night!
