Much appreciated, I found it! It seems that these Motown grooves were often relatively simple, but oh-so-catchy, along with the drums it just makes you want to move. Do you know if it was Jamerson on this recording by chance?

@@BryanDean-hs5jq doesn't sound like Jameson, apparently it was Bob Babbitt, which it does sound like.

Good rendition. Motown music has some of the most beautiful bass lines ever. Early Jameson, and then Babbitt. 2 bassist giants. Hey check out Bob Babbitt playing bass on Scorpio. He rocked the house and towards the end he has that iconic bass solo. I love playing bass myself; it’s the sexiest instrument ever. Okay; the lead guitar a close second. 👍🏾🇺🇸
