Dude, the last several episodes have been amazing. I know you struggle with "are vlogs enough to keep me creatively satisfied", I just want to tell you that for me personally, I think they're incredible, and literally some of your best work. Keep it up and I wish you nothing but success and happiness in your future.

Freaking brilliant! I followed your work with Mr. O’Brien as well as this past year. Strong blogging and video techniques for sure. However this new direction of yours and applying your craft in a short film format is freaking brilliant. I am an old surfer from California 60 years old who has had two shoulder replacements and is headed in the back surgery. I live in the desert in Tucson Arizona and follow surfing channels to keep myself connected as much as I can to my mother ocean. The way that you captured the last few episodes really magnificent and beautiful. And your thoughtful message about being present and not so focused on the endgame is so well received. I am the founder of international nonprofit that works with artists to impact culture and community with a focus on indigenous nations around the globe. I am going to use your videos, or I should say short film sessions, as examples for young artists. That you don’t have to wait they have a massive production budget to do amazing work. And you don’t have to have a one hour short feature film with 100 page script to impact your audience you did it in 10 minutes. And you left me wanting a whole lot more from you. Love your work thank you for your message and the connection for me to the wonderful aloha journey of surfing, which is all about the paddle out, hanging with friends, meeting people and being part of the environment and the human experience together.

I’ve often said the best part of vacation is when you’re packed up and ready to go- and the whole thing is in front of you! So, I agree and like your surf philosophy even more so. I’m knocking around the internet trying to find out about my great- grandparents ( I’m 61 ) who were from Terceira and the surname Esteban. But, that’s like being named Smith in the USA! Anyhow, that was an exquisite video and you guys are proper gentlemen, thanks so much!

You made a good point on a "surf trip" is not only about the surf you get but on all the nice memories you make with your friends!! You should visit the Canary Islands some day!! Enjoying your Azores series, and noticed your Air BnB was 3 doors down! Haha! Great videos! I especially like your positive and un-jaded perspective and you all's youthful antics. Bruce Brown of the new generation! I vote for a full length feature film by Lebsack! I'd buy a ticket. I also enjoyed your hyping of the "best waves in Europe" at the beginning, and then the sober analysis at the end with your heartfelt message to wrap it all up. It's definitely been very big and very windy this winter. Surely not as good as Hawaii, but when it gets good, it gets real good! Thanks for sharing your adventures and keep up the good work! p.s. Next time you come, get your breakfast sandwiches with butter and toasted (grilled). It a million times tastier. ;)

Hi Jackson, just coming back from the Azores, already feeling nostalgic ! I found your videos and looks like we made almost the same trip with my family, searching for remote waves, discovering this beautiful green island... Swell was not as consistant but I had the chance to surf that beautiful left after that long walk 😊 I was not sure the way to get to the beach was the good one (seemed to me pretty long and tricky) but you and your friends took the same as us 😅 Your edit is so cool, it really reminds me what we've explored a few days ago ! Really grateful for that 🙏 !
