not if you have the right equipment surf requires a different sound a heavy reverb not the type thats built into amps a outboard unit if u look you will see it on the floor or there someplace id say tube amps used for amplication

@@chrisst8922 Right. Shermy plays a Bobcat. Written the comment I thought it is a Fender-Mustang. But certainly it is not. I think Nicole owns a Fender Mustang. In former days she also played a Bobcat, or beside her Fender-Stratocaster. You can see her at a Halloween show with Wasagas Surf playing her Bobcat (2017). She has the character of a cat and Shermy is dressed as a female-StarTrek-alien.

So it is a Gretsch-guitar of lead-guitar-player Mark Sanders. Sarah, who later became bass-player for "the Surfrajettes" played upright-bass in "the Millwinders" and also sang for them. It could be Sarah's first longorn-bass. She bought it about five years ago. Gerd Dreischhoff This new bassist is extremely talented. However in my opinion, if this group is to break out, they need some vocals. The age difference may work against them. Instead of 4 young and hungry musicians, you have an elder involved. I’ve been around and in the music business for quite awhile and optics are just as important as the sound. And these girls have the sound. Just my opinion. This band has potential. The two lead/rhythm guitarists are phenomenal. Really captures that “Surf sound” with originality. Thanks for the info. @@machia0705 An "old" ager can also mean experience. And the bass player can really sing. She sang in the "Millwinders". So if one day they want to integrate some songs with vocals they already have a great singer in the band. I have read in an interview that they all have nice voices. And maybe they will sing a four part harmony one day. And I think the bass player is also a hungry musician. She really likes to play music. In an interview they said they did not expect such great success. They thanked the fans for the great feedback. The four members all have day jobs. Maybe they want to make music more as hobby, certainly they are more than hobby-musicians. I really like their music how they present it actually. And they all four have personality and are a good team.

Gerd Dreischhoff Very good. Well grounded people. Obviously a love for music here and above average skills as professional musicians. Some of the more recognized musicians don’t come close to these 2 guitarists and bassist. If marketed correctly they could get a lot bigger. There’s a lot of talent here. Thanks for the info.
