Archangel with galvaniser gear is better. galvaniser gear offers much more defense than the chrysalis. Also an excellent weapon to use is the twinlance of corruption. Still equip the entropic dissolver, but there is an implant which increases electric damage as well. You can find it in the spark cathedral behind a nano wall. Since you'll have that implant equipped, there'll be no need to use an electric weapon since that implant, combined with the galvaniser and archangel gear is more than enough to stun enemies fast. Also since you'll be using a nanite weapon, you'll be proccing the nanite damage faster, which means more dps. Personally i use the infected authority, twinlance of corruption and infected slashbrand. So for a better build than what was shown in the video you should equip: archangel head archangel arms galvaniser body galvaniser legs any good nanite weapon Implants: entropic dissolver, piezo-induction igniter, tactile amplifer, kineto plasmic shunt, kinetic-inject charger, medi-voltaic injection, omni health observer, rig capacitor xxl, energy dynamo, auto-healing dynamo, leg pneumatic adapter, and emergency reserve injection. With this build, you'll be an unstoppable, healing, dps monster. Nothing will touch you. I've tested this build myself and it works well, even without the elemental intensifier. Btw the elemental intensifier only increase the buildup of the elemental effects, not the damage itself. The partial bonus on the archangel gear does both, so it's better to replace elemental intensifier with the piezo-induction intensifier, since that does the same thing but without reducing your physical damage. kineto plasmic shunt is amazing with double duty weapons. I use that in emergencies, and in the worst case scenario, a battery will be used to heal you from the emergency reserve injection to save you from death.

Croz Raven great to hear. I loved using spears in The Surge 1 even though they weren’t the most optimal weapons.

Frankly spears reach is not a very good one with very limited moveset for aoe attacks. Even single rigged have better aoe. Anything can be op if it fits your playstyle (and you know how the combos work). Single rigged does not chunk through your stamina at all if you learn the timings for the attacks.

I do not understand the spear love. The moves are so boring and disfunctional. Everything is pretty much forward thrust. Energy generation is meh, so is impact. Compare that to staves, which have all (range, slams, thrusts, uplifts and lots of aoe spins, wide and narrow - whatever you need) and there is no contest. No wonder they made a special Implant that boosts Spears Aspeed and Energy generation. Without it they are meh. With it they are meh a little less and can maybe compete with other disfunctionctional weapon types.

@@rajahava oh you're crazy. Fantastic pokes, Brother Truman's spear has electric so when they are stunned, you can backstab for more damage with the implant. It's really a disgustingly broken weapon. Now I'm in NG+1 with this build and it feels like a joke

@@spyder2238 No reason to poke in this game. Its not Dark Souls, there is no PVP either, bosses do not 1shot you (unless you gear/mod to be 1shotted intentionally). Electric is overrated, impact staggers them more frequently and you can get them electric stunned just with usage of your drone. Backstab? Why? They are dead faster if you just hit them in the face. Implant for backstab? Havent seen one, would be likely irrelevant for me anyway, because if i backstab i cannot cut limb because they die. NG+ feels like joke in general because of your gear and game knowledge, that is how NG+ mostly feels.

I disagree on blocking. If you place your damage to Healing/energy to healing, etc. implants correctly. You don’t even need to block once in this game.

I wouldn't use the elemental intensifier. To many enemies late game ng+ are nano tanks and that -20% to damage is gonna hurt you.

If they are nano tanks there is no point in using any nano damage, so no point for the the Chrysalis partial set.

@@rajahava keep the chrysalis since nano and electric are the only elements worth a damn. The element intensifier though is a 20% decrease in physical damage. Limiting the weapons true potential towards nano tanks.

@@potatosalad4877 Why use the elemental damage bonus that works on certain enemies, while it doesnt on others if you can get much higher overall damage bonus from MG Cerberus? And you do not need special implant slots to justify using it over anything else?

@@rajahava the MG Cerberus damage bonus pales in comparison to an Ironmaus build with Rhino arms. Ive gotten my impact above 100. I use an elemental build because I find it simply satifsfying to proctor elemental damage. Im not justifying one build over another. Im trying to minmax one build to ensure damage output is optimal on all enemies and not 75/25

@@potatosalad4877 The impact stat is just a number, actual effect depends on the moveset choice. Plus it doesnt add damage, neither does Iron Mouse set or Rhino Arms. It is just a bonus, while you are doing damage. All that matters is how fast you kill the enemy. Minmaxing one build in a vaccum I guess.

There are some bugs in the order you must equip things I think. Try taking your gear off and changing the order you equip it.
