We chose a Zoe as a Fiesta replacement, it's definitely the best all rounder in its class due to internal space and performance, and the first car we've owned with isofix in the front seat as well as 2 in the back. Handy if you need to take 3 little ones out on a trip (no problems with our child seat in the front though as ours has an isofix/tether which is probable more ideal for the front). At the moment I'm achieving 200 miles out of 100%, during summer expecting 250 easy. The pedestrian noise can be changed between 3 sounds if you hold down the button. As for comfort, I had no hassles setting the seat and find myself perfectly comfortable after a 90 mile drive (longest we tend to do in the Zoe), I did have to install an arm rest though! Regarding wipers, never really had a problem and auto setting works extremely well.

In terms of the range it's mind blowing. Wow 250 miles is absolutely amazing. For the price, you can't go wrong. That's good you can change the sounds. I'm glad you enjoy your first EV and you are happy with the purchase. I'm still testing. I have been driving Corsa E , Honda E ,Mazda mx-30 and still looking. Next week I'll be testing MG ZS EV which is another great value for money car 😀

You can tilt the front seat backwards and the kids have two USB ports in the back to charge and use their tablets while sitting on the back seats, this is way better and safer than having them try to watch a video on the screen in the front. Regarding the noise the car makes while driving slow, this is for safety reasons. Just think of you sitting in a STNG shuttle and you should feel fine with that noise 😂

I test drive Zoe I could only hear the outside pedestrian warning safety sound if I had window down. It is there for an important reason you should not switch it off! It is unsafe without.

That car sound is there for a reason, it is a safety feature. And as for the drinks, officially you are not allowed by law to eat or drink whilst driving., it takes your attention away from your driving.

I do understand that the sound is the safety fure. I wish there was an option to change it for a different sound as for me personally is annoying. I'm testing Mazda mx-30 and it also has sound and it's actually an engine imitation but it doesn't bother me at all. I'm glad I took the time to test drive the car as I wouldn't be able to discover this. Other than that the Zoe is a nice car with a huge range 😉

There is a possibility to have an armrest. I have it mine. Regarding the safetysound it has below 30 kmh it will be on all cars because it's a safety standard. If not implemented in all the cars you testdrive it will be.

I could probably get use to not having the armrest but the sound is just annoying. Do you know if there is an option to change to a different sound. I am aware that all newish cars will have the sound as standard.

@@DariuszTech Look to the right of the steering wheel there is a button where you can change the sound or turn it off. An armrest can be bought for about £150 from Renault and there are some alternatives that use the cup holder.

Kilowatts per hour?? Whats this?
@DariuszTech
@DariuszTech Ай бұрын
The efficiency of an EV is often measured in miles per kWh. This tells you how many miles the car can travel on one kWh of electricity. For example, if an EV has an efficiency of 4 miles per kWh, it means it can travel 4 miles using 1 kWh of energy.

@@DariuszTech Pounting out that kilowatts per hour is meaningless. An EV reviewer should know the difference between kilowatts and kilowatt-hours.
