I’m thinking this console was powered up before hand when the motherboard was cracked and tampered. Probably led to unwanted shorts that toasted the main processor chips. Looks like the work done to the console prior was not good. Nice way of demonstrating how you can touch up cold or cracked solder joints!

I'd love to know the actual name of the "vibrator" tool to remove solder mask (tried to search with no avail, and it's not on the description either), ironically I've been struggling to remove some hours ago.
