Paul at 64 I’m very much still interested in the physical aspect of a relationship but it’s a battle with my body that says maybe not sometimes. Also frequency is less at maybe 1-2 times a week. My Filipina is 36 and accommodates those requests nicely most of the time. By far the interest I had was as a travel partner and just a partner in general. My American wife had been more like a roommate at the end of our 38 year marriage.

In the West, it is the money (and she usually has her own), good hygiene, acceptance of her child/children. His body and facial features matter to what she personally finds attractive. Being an older man in the west is definitely different than the Philippines. Most western women would never consider an older man and the reasons are many.

When I was younger, guys would cheat on their GF’s with girls that weren’t always more attractive than the one they were with. Many just assumed it was because it was new and men were dogs. Clearly that was a component, in time you also discovered attraction was more than physical. For the most part after time you don’t see looks as much as you see compatibility. Here’s the truth . An old man’s currency is only applicable in the Philippines. Having observed Western men Filipina relationships for over 40 years , in Phils and Australia, I have not seen one Filipina trade up from an old guy to another old guy in the West. It’s always for a younger more sexually energetic model regardless of their economic status. Men sexually peak at 18-19 years old, women in their late 30’s.

What I have learned so far from meeting fillipinas is they are more attracted to older men because well .. older men can appreciate a younger beautiful woman, we know how to treat them ,unlike our younger counter parts.. we are more comfortable with ourselves over trying to prove ourselves worthy, we are also much more experienced of all things including relationships. More relaxed and easy going. Not uptight over the little things... As a young person in a Western country with a lot of older men with SE Asian wives and girlfriends (take a guess you've got about 4 to choose from) I can attest its a lot of waiting for him to die. Old Western men are more like to drink and smoke and have good retirement plans. You see it a lot with those SE Asian wives who stand silent with their head down. I've got some female friends from The Philippines and they prefer the young muscle bound guys with motorbikes but their relatives back home prefer the rich guys 😂 my buddy is half Thai and he rarely visits his relatives cause they're every stereotype from gold diggers to bar girls, internet scammers and he's even got a couple of cousins who are ladyboys! Gotta love it

The average western women are just not interested in older men for many reasons. If an older western man chooses to move to the Philippines to find love, as long as he is aware of the possible consequences and takes care of his finanancials, there is no reason to judge.

Great video, great commentary. Offering some more social science, Maslow hierarchy of human needs we’d find most PH women are seeking basic human needs security. Only once those are largely secured will the person be able to seek higher needs like love, social approval, etc. to some large extent what we find remarkable about PH people is they can seek and provide for the higher needs before they have the basic security needs met . Recognizing I’ve said contradictory comments in the prior two sentences I think they go back and forth which causes some westerners to believe they are not trustworthy or offering real ______. Who among us would not be conflicted or challenged if we were in some level of financial insecurity for ourselves or loved ones? I want to like the comment of another who observed “you’ve run your race, won some, lost some, and now you have an opportunity to finish your life with a lovely woman but you’ll have to help her. Mr. Maslow would find that completely consistent with human nature.

You tried to flip the script by saying "Western women aren't interested in older men" but this is about Filipino women and the Filipino, Thai, Vietnamese women I know all know and repeat the same stuff I posted in my first comment. My friends Thai mom has brought him along to events with older Thai women, all married to older Western men and its all just misery and gold digging. It might sound judgemental and mean spirited but as a Western man, we fought for freedom of speech and the freedom to express an opposing side to a narrative, didn't we? I'm not going to get burned but I know the friends in my social circle say the opposite to whats said in this video.

Yes... Older men have more GAME! I can personally attest to that. I don't even have to try any more... I'm 66. My criteria has major 4 parts to what turns "me" on. 1) Intelligence, 2) Sense of humor, 3) Emotional stability, 4) Looks. The more they accel in the first 3, the 4th becomes less important. If any one of the first 3 are lacking, then forget it.

A relatively older male where a young male being early 20's and older man being in the 40s' that if single have probably accumulated more wealth and social status which correlates to a being able to sustain a "primal instinct" the evolutionary benefit to rear off spring to maturity. The age of 40 is statistically significant given humans historically had a relatively shorter life span than those humans who happen to thrive in a highly developed economy within modernity.

Unfortunately for me, my libido was waning at age 51 or so. I was and still am married to my wife who I love dearly. It was difficult for her to understand that a man could be in love without making love. It is hard for women sometimes to separate sex from love. A guy has no problem having sex with a woman he doesn't love and is able to love a woman without having sex together. Maybe females of our age demographic have been conditioned to think a guy doesn't love her if he isn't that interested in "doing" her. We enjoy our lives together & IF I ever come into a position to relocate there, I would be looking for the same thing. Someone I am attracted to, enjoy her company, love spending time together & just sharing our lives.
