Lately I’ve been derailing. My ego started getting the best of me and I was looking to get it in check. I was going to revisit Ryan Holidays “ego is the enemy” but didn’t think it’s quite it. I knew I was in a negative state of mind, nothing horrible but not my usual self. This came at a perfect time. It’s like the universe gives you what you need. Going to buy the book tonight. Thank you both!!

It sounds simple, but because of our engraining habits, frenetic lifestyle and our connection to the wrong stuff, it takes time to change. I have started doing the soul sync at least twice a day, along with serene practice and slowly my addictive, obsessive nature of almost 50 years is starting to change. It does take time to be aware, to notice the feeling/emotions and there are painful and uncomfortable and previously I would feed them with destructive actions that gave relief in the short term, but soon they returned stronger. So with the help of the soul sync, I can stay with those feelings until they dissolve leaving you with this strange sense of calm. So simple & so beautiful

Suffering is not waste of time. Suffering is creating disconnection when you start having 80% of your old negative thoughts, and for too long. When you want to do what snake does you must suffer. P.s. Intelligence is everything, including pain.

@Lewis Howes, I find self help useless without spiritual transformation. What do you think?.
@happylifegrace46745 жыл бұрын
Absolutely correct. Spirit and soul are key to living sane or insane. If you are worshipping darkness you will be out of sync with the life God wants us to live. If we don't think and live as our creator wishes then that is why man must rely on man-made ideas and philosophies. Which, if people do their due diligence of research, history of human behaviors, other nations population of people and lifestyles, study of animals, study of nature...you will see how dysfunctional we are here in the Western hemisphere. I can show you about a dozen people who will find this mental health epidemic a mental issue that can be fixed with the adjustment of their thinking and believing.

nick1177 lol, you’re comparing a retreat to college? Trying putting “retreat” on you’re resume and see how far you go!
@nick11775 жыл бұрын
@@extrinsic1311 If you think everything is about a resume or an application you're an idiot. There are far more valuable things that you can gain from one retreat than a single class in college. Might be why you still think that's a "lot" of money.
