As a musician inspired by the likes of Bob Dylan, David Bowie, Blur and Yves Tumor, Fitzroy is driven by two factors: the desire to become a travelling performer and the magic of connecting with the audience (which he does exceptionally well). He paid his dues in various rock bands before taking a more reflective approach, now flourishing as a solo career. Combining indie, psych, and a whole lot more, his work is that of a true original, someone on his own path.
It is equally satisfying to witness Fitz Holt performing his track 'Foolish man'. A fascinating mix of soul and blues - switching seamlessly between rock 'n' roll roars and soothing falsetto style to create an intimate atmosphere that lets us know he is a natural live performer.⁠
