the show was made in Florida actually. If you look at the end credits, it was taped and edited in Tampa, Florida. PBS has a tv station there WEDU. I know, because I live in Florida and watched WEDU when I was little.

I recorded the show off TLC back in 1999 or so. I only got a handful of episodes before TLC yanked the show from its lineup. From what I can tell, it was showing first (1995) and second (1996) episodes at the time.
