As a King's gambit player, I never seen this variation. I know Muzio Gambit where you sac the knight but then you sac'd the 'd' pawn as well for tempo which is crazy. It would have gotten interesting if he took your bishop at 2:05 and then you walk his king up the board! More King's Gambit would be cool even though it's easily refuted.

it's not easily refuted lol, like sure it's a bit dubious in classical at the top level probably, but nepo plays it at the very top level as a surprise weapon still with decent results, whereas if it were easily refuted he probably wouldnt be beating alireza with it

​@@mrichards Black has many moves to defend King's gambit and take the advantage. Have you watched Nepo's King's gambit course? In almost all variations Nepo is fighting for a draw. King's gambit is just ok in blitz. Magnus beat Nepo's King's gambit in 17 moves. Sure, Magnus and Hikaru played King's gambit in blitz but that's pretty much only were it's variable.
