This may come across harsh but I honestly don’t understand the point or direction of this series. I liked the improv style dialogue in the beginning but atp the lack of substance, themes or topics just leaves nonsensical ramblings that makes each character appear unintelligent, uninteresting and entirely lacking in any depth which makes each episode feel like pointless viewing that drags on unnecessarily. Like if you asked me what happened in each episode immediately after watching I wouldn’t be able to tell you. There is not one character that actually comes across as likeable or interesting as every conversation or insight into them is entirely surface level even after this many episodes where character and relationship development should have begun yet haven’t. I don’t know if I’m just not the target audience but I just don’t recall teenagers being this shallow and apathetic even regarding the things that interest them let alone their romantic interest in each other which should prompt some excitement or tension that is non existent. I don’t know.. I’m just not enjoying any of this so far and am struggling to see the point of why it was written/created.
