Watching Chris, seeing him get on fish, realizing it’s not the same as last year, knowing it’s gonna take a better avg size, moving until he found those, and then still recognizing he’d need more to win and then finding that and almost winning the tournament. It reminds me of vintage Zaldain. But at the same time a new Chris. Couldn’t be rooting harder for you to get the blue trophy you wildly deserve. 🤞🏻it just feels like it’s time!! 2025 is gonna be your year man.

Been looking forward to this one Chris! I grew up on Champlain. Lucky to have had grandparents who spent 3200 dollars on a lot and building a camp on the inland sea. Just DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER IMO. Gorgeous and FULL of FUN fish to catch.

Dude.. Champlain is NOT a “FFS needed fishery”.. as a EKF angler , from UPSTATE NY-by the way- we call it upstate, all of us.. I caught atleast 100 pounds of bass under 1.. that’s ONE bridge piling, as did about 4 other guys … and the next day, I went to the opposite side of the bridge, and docks ofc, and caught another 100 pounds of bass- atleast. 111.5” of bass, 95% of my catches came on a Blade bait, a hair jig, and Trap ( and finesse football head and weightless senco… all ya need … in the summer. Frogs and worms all day.. no need for jig head minnow… since this is months after the fact, how did Seth Feider catch his bass? Ohhh shallow, right.. on a frog and flipping.

Hey Chris did you design the Magdraft because I seen some guys saying you did so I wanted to find out straight from you, also I’m so glad you made your Daingerious swimbait a top hook ( best swimbait ever made) and unrigged version because every bottom treble swimbait has a tendency to hook bass in the gills and tongue and your swimbait eliminates that!

On the bait fish and habitat subject, Chris would know some of the fisheries debated about perhaps, on 'Into the Backing' episode ten, on Anchored Outdoor channel. The point that lots of the debate contributors explained, was how much change and transformation they see in aquatic environments.

Man I went back to the early eighties and watch Hank Parker win the classic on a spinner bait I think that’s the best tournament I’ve ever watched he hade to set up precisely where he could run the spinner bait p parallel to the underwater trees and they hade to be off the bank he didn’t wear them but he caught enough to win by using his brain now that’s fishing something a scope a dope would know nothing about they would rather sit in 60 feet of water with there thumb up there arse playing video games
