Any TikTok dances you may have seen are because of this video and these awesome fellas. Not the other way around. They actually influence a lot of things from fashion to skincare to entire economies. They have a lot of influence and power, yet they’re so amazingly humble and respectful that you can’t help but love them!!! They’re celebrating 10 years this 6/13 and they’re the same today as they were then. It’s the reason people love them and the reason you never hear any scandals about them. These and countless others are the reason I and my fellow ARMY love and adore them. They cross generations even. My daughter turned me onto them when she was 15 and I was 42. I’ll be 49 this year and I still love them. 💕💕💕

"The beat is definitely all Steve Aoki". Is that the voice of knowledge speaking or just someone saying whatever is fulfills an America is the center of the world mentality? This song existed before Steve Aoki did a great job of enhancing the beat and before he became part of a rather large Big Hit in house song writing team. Lengthy swathes of English replaced Korean during the middle passages of the remix which may be a big factor in why he was brought in for this project. Please do not knee jerk that the American is automatically the source of the beat as it basically writes off what Koreans are capable of. Incidentally this also includes inviting Aoki and Desiigner to work on this track so as to magnify the creativity of their own work. Mic Drop was released September 2017. BTS started in June 2013 after a two-year training period. Dance had been part of their works all along. The same guy called BTS Tik Tok dancing. Tik Tok started in September 2016. I guess the cart is before the horse when everything is seen through a filter unrelated to what is being watched. Good on you guys for engaging something new and unfamiliar. Just be careful putting things in boxes.

They sprinkle English in their lyrics. The only thing BTS and N’sync have in common is the groups are all male. That is it. The music you are watching is several years old and it still holds up. RM the leader, former underground rapper collaborated with Wale, the song CHANGE. The video is on YT. BTS has a song that pays homage to HIPHOP/RAP OGs song is HIP HOP PHILE watch the lyric video first. I don’t know which live performance has subtitles. BTS has song very 90’s West Coast vibe. They spent some time with Warren G. WAKE UP. No MVs. Live performances only. Check for subtitles. If none, watch lyric videos. Agust-D video title Agust-D The song is 🔥. 2nd song Daechwita 🔥

Even though it opens up with Japanese-American DJ Steve Aoki, the song itself is owned by BigHit(HYBE) / BTS and it was written by BTS Leader “RM” (comes out of ambulance) which was said to be inspired by Obama speeches. After listening to the track and loved it so much that Steve collabed with BTS to make a remix version of their original song “Mic Drop” (which is in Korean) and got featured in their music video. He does get credit for the remix on top of being in the MV, there’s also another remix with Desiigner voice played in the background in the intro of the video. *FUN FACTS: Almost everything used is REAL except maybe the floating mics and firey debri after literally blowing up a car behind them.* Just to let you know they are not saying the western used “N” word it only sounds like it, the “Nega” word in their language means “I” or “I’m” in Korean. Everyone who doesn’t understand abit about the language & meanings especially when they hear the “Nega” word; which is very commonly used allot in the asian culture. It’s NOT the same as the “N” word, which allot of westerners got too comfortable hearing or saying then assuming automatically when they hear it from a foreigner that’s what they mean but in this case it has nothing to do with black people at all. *In some foreign languages/cultures, many commonly used western words will sound similar but have different meanings* #BTS #MicDrop #StopAsianHATE

RM (the one that came out of the ambulance) is the leader of the group he is also a rapper along with Suga aka Agust D & Jhope. RM learnt english at 14 I beleive watching friends, he also has an IQ of 148 so he is extremely intelligent and well spoken in english, he even did a speech before the general assembly about learning to love themselves. Songs like butter, Permission to dance do sound like the old boy band style songs as they were my era as well, however BTS is actually nothing like them. If you turn to the solo songs RM - Joke, Agust D - Daechwita, Jhope More or Arson, you will see what I mean, songs are toned down in the group, on solo projects they really have a go at their haters more. especially in the cypher series pt1, pt2, pt3 & pt4...........

I love your reaction! One thing about TikTok and K-pop you should know. K-pop dancing came first, and TikTok copy them. Go look at the old K-pop songs - they have been adding what they call point dances since 1992. A point dance is a section of choreography that’s hard enough to be challenging but easy enough for the fans to want to copy it. And it started long before TikTok was a thing.

Thanks for giving BTS a go. I think you'll find their music is diverse. Their best songs are the ones in Korean as it is the language they can be most expressive in. Even RM who is most fluent in English isn't 100% fluent (e.g. at the end of his closing statement at 2022 Las Vegas concert, he slipped into Korean as he said he couldn't express all he wanted to say in English). The others are learning English; they can understand a lot more than they can speak. Yes, they did release 3 songs in English but they learned to sing those songs. You might want to check out one of the "color-code lyric" videos to see what they are saying in English (you'll notice there is a smattering of English thrown in with Korean). The members often go to RM if they want to include English in their lyrics. I'm partial to the rapline - RM, Suga, JHope. They all released mixtapes, and in July JHope released his 1st solo album just before he headlined at Lollapalooza. RM has two mixtapes - RM & Mono; JHope has Hope World & Jack in the Box (July 2022); Suga's alter ego is Agust D - he has Agust D & D-2. I am partial to Agust D so am more familiar with his mixtapes. I'd recommend Agust D (there's a mv, and available on SoundCloud but not on places like Spotify, Apple Music, etc.), Burn it, What Do You Think, the Last. Agust D pretty much laid out his life. He's due to release his first solo album, not a mixtape (BTS is working on solo work now). Suga is in Juice Wrld "Girl of My Dreams"; he also collab with Halsey "Suga's Interlude" where he rapped in Korean. Back in the day RM collab with Warren G & Walle - he rapped in English. The BTS discography is lengthy. Their most recent album is an anthology so you might want to check that out just to get a feel for them. Disc 1 are songs all of them agreed on. Disc 2 the members chose a couple of the songs that they each wanted to showcase. Disc 3 was mostly stuff that was never published but the members felt they wanted to share.

They can l spek English all kpop artist and groups sing in Korean, English they also do Japanese Chinese etc... also there are plenty of non Korean idols from other countries and mixed people. Pretty much all the music in the country will have English in with the Korean and some might be gully Korean while others are the English or Japanese version of a song By the way they didn't copy the TikTok answers literally a lot of the dentist on TikTok people got them from K pop and a lot of people who dance to the songs or do the dance don't even know where it originated from so
