Didn't know much about them until Apocryphon, there is a lot of stoner, a bit of doom, psychedelic 70's flavoured music definitely my cup of tea as i grew up in the 60's, there is a bit of Sabbath, to my shock they came to Australia as a support act, played only for 40 odd minutes but it was great to see them for the first time

First off, you seriously fail at trolling. Old thread is old, Lurk moar. Second: the word your trying to spell is "Weeaboo" and if your going to insult someone you need to spell correctly otherwise they'll brush you off as an idiot. Third - go do something productive for once, you may enjoy it. Have a nice day.

This band in my opinion has always had great riffs and their records sound great. I don't like the singers voice though. He has no range and is boring to listen to. He sounds like a million other garage band singers.

whos needs a singer and double pedal if you have those in yo face riffs ? ...i know the vocals could be better...

Like your comment. This ain't pop rap or country we're listening to here. It's metal and good metal never dies it always sounds fantastic no matter what year it is. That's why Sabbath sounds just as killer if not better today than it did 50 years ago.
@Vienreich11 жыл бұрын
I don't get it. Why repeat something that people did 100 times better in the 80's - 90's ? This is just generic stuff surviving due to their strong merchandise and image.
@idle9206 жыл бұрын
Vienreich all the best riffs have been written... It's hard to create something knew when people have been doing it for the past 70/80 years making music, and that's only documented...

Wrong !the band's awesome because they go back to their roots and play music that is heavily influenced by the godfathers of metal, Sabbath. More bands need to do this. That's the problem with modern metal everything sounds the same it's all Cookie cutter shit. Let's make an Olympic event and just see how many beats per minute we can get the kick drums up to and how many notes we can slam into a solo instead of actually good sounding music with a catchy rhythms. I love modern metal especially extreme metal but 90% of the bands all sound the same.
