Awesome song, heavy, bluesy, even funky at times. This is what metal should be about. Their new stuff, the Warp Riders album, is good. Tres Brujas and the Chronomancer 1&2 are both very good tunes. But their older stuff, like this and the Gods of the Earth album, are some of the best metal records I've ever listened to :D

I thought Warp Riders was bad... in comparison to Age of Winters and Gods of the Earth. Those two were excellent. I haven't listened to Apocryphon yet so I have no opinion on it yet.

Yeah Warp Riders is great. I still think Gods of the Earth is their best album, but admittedly I haven't heard Apocryphon or High Country yet. I think Warp Riders is better than Age of Winters though...both are great, but Warp Riders has more variety.

I thought Apocryphon was dope. More musically dense than previous albums, but still fat and heavy. High Country loses almost all of that thick, heaviness. I do like some of their musical ideas on there though. Can't help but feel like the synths would've made more sense on Warp Riders.
