It sounded like each turn you were letting off the throttle to put more grip in the front tire and also for the force of the turn. Do you do that all the time?

When I'm in a lot of curves or in a group ride, I usually keep the rpm's higher so the engine does most of the breaking going into the curves and a quicker response time getting out of the curve. That's just how I do it. You need to ride at your confort level. Especially on a trike. They are always trying to throw you off your seat in the curves, as you probably already know. I use that force to help me turn, so you are basically turning left by pushing right and pulling left on your bars. Your body is being pushed to the right when turning left. Use that to help you turn. The front tire will have a tendance to push or get loose if you're excelerating to fast going into or out of a sharp curve. I would recommend an Avon Cobra tire for the front, made fore trikes. They stick much better and close to the same price as a Dunlop. The dealership will change them for you. They don't usually offer that tire. Just be sure to buy the correct size online of course. Have fun and be safe.

I wrote it 50 years ago and then I wrote it again about 10 years ago. It was sure a lot nicer before it became commercialized

I totally agree. I take other riders, if they've never been there and want to go. That's about it.

Personally I don't see the big deal!.. The Tunnel of Trees in Northern Michigan has way sharper curves than this..

The tail of the dragon is popular because of how many turns there are, not for how sharp they are. It is to busy most of the time to enjoy it for what it is.
