Years ago Stephen Knapp wrote about this. He said the Taj Mahal was a Shiva Temple and that it was defaced by Shah Jahan and Muslim writing carved onto stones that had a yellowish hue and were placed where the original writings had been chiseled out. Stephen had shown pld photos of Hindu idols locked away in the deep rooms. Thank you Praveen for your works.

Stevie Knapps work itself was based on the work of P.N. Oak. Oak wrote his first book on this in the 1960s it was called Taj Mahal is a temple Palace. He was a lawyer and a journalist. Brilliant writer and he was with Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose in the INA. All of Oak Sahibs photographs have been handled by myself and we had these converted into slides in London around 1976? They are the same that everyone have used ever since. The main objective evidence was by Professor Marvin Mills who radio carbon dated a bit the back door facing the Yamuna. He was professor of oriental architecture at some university in the states. At first, Marvin thought the whole proposition preposterous, but he contacted Mr Oak and told him his discovery. You can actually watch Marvin Mills discuss his findings on KZbin. Then you can watch Mr Oak getting interviewed By Dr R.S. Bakhshi too. He was upset over the fact that a fellow Maharatta here in the U.K. had read his book, met with him a couple of times and then written his own book presenting this work as his own with no reference to Oak at all, plagarism!!! Now I’m afraid to say that all the ideas, the references presented here are the work of P.N. Oak. Purusottam Nagesh Oak. I know because I was there when the events happened, I knew him personally and his nephew Shashi Kant Oak. You can see Shashi Kant on KZbin doing stuff on Nadi granths etc. I’ve not seen this video yet, but if truth be told, credit should be given where it is due. I wonder if we hear the name of Mr Oak in this podcast, because something tells me not to be too optimistic. At the beginning Praveen says, there’s a book, I think it’s called the Badshahnama or something???.!!! Seriously? It’s the most crucial evidence you have chronicled at that time and you make a statement like that? Now without even looking on google, I can tell you that Badshanama was written by Abdul Hamid Lahori, court chronicler of Shah Jahan. And there’s a story behind that one too. Mr Oak had got a copy but it was in Persian. Now, he couldn’t read it, he spoke Sanskrit BTW. So they gave the copy to a professor of Persian at an Indian University. The professor was dismissive of the whole thing and took Mr Oak as some kind of Hindu crank. Anyway he said he’d take a look. A day or so later he received a phone call from him saying he was flabbergasted and just shocked. ‘Why the whole story is here written clearly, He took the building from Raja Jai Singh, Grandson of Raja Man Singh!’ Now which idiot is going to get a building, demolish it, get rid of the rubble, another headache! Then dig up the foundations, Lay new foundations for your building, when, as emperor, you can get any bit of land and start everything from new? Mr Oak had visited Burhanpur where Mumtaz, or Arjumand Banu Begum had died. Her burial spot is still there, and it was one of the 72 odd shots in the photo collection. Well Oak Ji asked the officials there about the grave in the makbara which appeared still intact. They told him that she was still buried there. After all, who on earth is going to dig up a rotting body after 3 months and move it some 300 miles on foot in the Indian heat?

Around 1976, I visited India and was 14 at the time. My indian family members took us to see the Taj. I pointed out all the Hindu motifs to them and told them it was a Shiva temple. I think they just said yeah yeah to humour me at the time but considered me as a real nutter.

Taj Mahal was never built by Shah Jahan. It was only modified by him. To look like an islamic structure. No documents have been found by Shah Jahan. But some chinese travellers have written about the beauty of tejo mahalaya during 13th century. The white marble etc. Parveen mohan should have done some detailed study on it. Agra fort and tejo mahalaya were linked by under ground passages.

Badshah Nama is the official records of the emperor in thia case Shahjahan - surprisingly what Praveen is missing is the fact that the Taj Mahal was bought as an existing structure and altered to make it into a tomb- It has at least 22 bedrooms on one of the lower levels - it was a Palace which incorporated a temple -as most areas have been locked up and not accesible now Pracveen has not been able to access these areas it seems - plus he does not want to offend the muslims-

Islam has a long, infamous history of demolishing places of worship of other religion.. especially Hindu and few Buddhist temples.. since it was a near a River, it made much sense to demolish the temple and use the original foundation..they were also very good at converting Hindu structures by few modifications and Islamic inscriptions and vola! The Muslim rulers were known to destroy Hindu structures during their reign. They tried to destroy the Hindu Kailasa Temple but failed to do so, they did succeed in destroying many others because India had thousands of Hindu structures. People don't know how great India was even before the Mughal Empire. There were the Rajput Dynasties, the Maurya and Gupta Empires, before those there were the Nanda Empire, all were Hindu Empires that build many mind blowing structures like the Kailasa Temple, or Ankor Wot in Cambodia which was a Hindu Temple for Lord Vishnu, but then transformed into a Buddhist Temple much later. Modern day people have no idea how great India was India

Invaders who could not build anything substantial in their original motherland cannot suddenly build a marvelous structure on this land. On the other hand this land has great constructions all over its area. Additionally, there are so many proofs out there that clearly suggest that Taj Mahal was not built by Shahjahan and there is absolutely no way it was built as a tomb considering its grandeur and architecture. Same with the pillar that is called Qutub Minar today. ASI needs to do a detailed study. I think the Taj Mahal was some type of old world hydro-electric power plant that produced massive amounts of energy and the type of technology it used is what is being hidden underneath the building. And if you look at it from a satellite view, you can see there was originally a structure directly across the river bank that seemed to be part of the Taj Mahal complex and it was demolished but the footprint of what used to be there is still visible. The story attached to the construction of it is probably not true.

As it is built next to a major river, the basement of the Taj Mahal could probably not be very deep, due to the aquifer probably being at a shallow depth. It is amazing that such a big structure could be built next to the River, but the Taj Mahal is mostly hollow, like a giant light bulb.

Another few miles gained by presenting this video...which essentially is not saying anything new! On the contrary it did not mention Shri P. N. Oak who had written a book saying that Taj is built on another structure, probably a Hindu temple. Also Mumtaj died before Taj was completed and she is not buried here. Please remember that the white marble structure was build by Indian artisans and Shah only paid for it! That also was probably a loot money!

The Emperor Shah Jahan hired many of the top architects from India at that time to assist him in building this structure. The amount of resources went into building it was a lot, it took a lot of Indian labor. India was 23% of the world's GDP at that time. And it was even richer during the Hindu Maurya and Rajput Empires

You can find the same architecture in rajasthan forts and palaces. Nothing special, It's technically the original indian architecture. And the labour were well versed indians. The marble structure could be built before shahjahan by some hindu king, shahjahan only modified it to Islamic structure with graves and Quran verses.
